I used a site called Ionomy to send my cryptos to my Coinbase account. I noticed my earnings started dropping in April 2022. I used Blocktrades until they stopped allowing US traders to use their site (before taking it offline completely). I talked about how my earnings dropping caused me to struggle because my benefits check was shorter due to helping my grandma with the heating system and I made the money back through Crypto Blogging. I agreed to help long before I knew the drop would happen. Due to chronic illness, I'm unable to work a 9-5 and freelance work/Gig work fits the unpredictable level of spoons I have that day.

Then it turned out fake accounts were voting for my posts and I didn't know until Adm from hive watchers voted my post from a certain period to zero with no word. I had to chase them down for an answer. This is why I promoted my kofi so heavily. No one told me the accounts were fake, Hive watchers assumed the accounts were mine. If HW can target you for simply being a small blogger... you understand why I don't want to only have Hive. If I knew they were fake, I could have reported it before HW assumed I ran the accounts. They thought I was voting for my posts.
Ionomy was the real culprit due to their high fees. I once had 80 dollars and Ion took half of it and I only have 40 left. Say, I'm at 100 dollars of my benefits check, and that 80 gives me a boost. I learned the fees were lower with ETH and I used that until the platform randomly removed it.
All the money I lost due to the high fees could have gone towards boosting what I already had left. I used the site because I didn't know of any other platforms with steps that are to the point. Then someone told me about Simple Swap. Just like the name, it's quick, easy, and to the point. The flip side is only liquid Hive is on the platform and I need at least 100 Hive for a tradeable amount. I learned I can send my Blurt and Steem over to hive via hive engine.
The site is offline now due to becoming sus recently. Blocktrades removed Steem and SBD from the platform. had I known the Hive engine existed, I could have brought my Steem/SBD over to Hive. Before Ion because sus, I could have bought SBD with my Steem and still traded SBD. It's a matter of knowing the tools I have.
I wish Hive had a Dapp that tells you platforms you can trade your crypto on. Ion is gone, some of you all told me about Simple Swap and now I know all the tools I can use. I just need to post more consistently.
