Hello to all hive users πβ€οΈπ
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your lifeπ
Social media has become an essential thing in today's time. Today, about 8 out of 10 people use social media and most of the people are like this because they use social media for 15 to 20 hours and those people have become addicted to it. On the other hand, there are many people who have become very popular due to social media and are earning a lot of money. This was a small introduction to social media. Now, as the topic is should employees submit their social media handles to their employer? I will have only one answer to this question and that is no. I don't understand why an employer would want this. If it is here for its image, then I would say that if the organization has to improve its image, then it can find some other way for this and the biggest thing to improve your image is that whatever work you do should have better quality because much more important than social media is how much quality is there in your work. For example, suppose there is an organization that manufactures a soft drink. All the people who have drunk the soft drink here did not like it much, due to which this organization needs to improve the quality of its product. In such a situation, if that organization, instead of improving its product quality, focuses on what kind of reputation it has on social media and how to improve it, then I do not believe that doing this will bring any significant change.
I believe that nowadays many organizations use social media to promote their products and social media has become a good tool for marketing in today's time but ultimately your product will go to an HD user and he has to use it, so in such a case if the quality of the product is poor then who will use that product. No matter how much you promote your product on social media or how many big celebrities you make the brand ambassador of your product, the number of users will keep decreasing.

If I am ever put in a situation where I get my dream job and they put a condition in front of me that I have to share my social media handles with them, I will refuse to work in such an organization because according to me, this is an organization that will only work to improve its image. Only those organizations do this, there is no special quality in the product, these companies are only engaged in improving their image.
The right company will be the one that will do research to improve the quality of its products and their only goal should be to improve the quality of their products so that their end users keep increasing. If a company is trying to improve its image, it clearly means that it just wants to show off and nothing else. Organizations that just show off can survive for a short time and after that their downfall is certain. I would like to say to everyone that our social media is our privacy and no one can give their privacy in anyone's hands. No company can get such a right that it can ask its employees to share their personal information. If a company asks them to do so, then it will be a violation of the basic rights of humans.
