Annual Christmas Party
We had our Annual Christmas Party with my team and a few others recently and it was a great success.
We had it at The Camden in Dublin and the food went down a treat and there was a free bar for around four hours too which also landed really well with the team.
The other managers and I got great feedback on the night and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, which is what you want from these nights.
A few sneaky pints beforehand
It's always good to loosen up before these events with a few pints of Guinness elsewhere, so myself and three of my best friends from work stopped into the Swan for some fabulous pints of Arthur's finest porter...and there was much rejoicing!

Nice Hotel
As I'm living in Galway now and the work party was in Dublin, I was put up in a nice hotel on St. Stephen's Green.
As you can see the decor and view from the hotel were tasteful.
The room itself was nice too, but what really made it for me were the staff, who were brilliant in my opinion.
It's a small boutique hotel and they really look after the customer.
Breakfast the next day was as good as I've had at Dublin hotels and everything was served freshly, no buffets here. That's the advantage of a small 41 room hotel I guess. You can really concentrate on the details to make the guest's stay enjoyable and memorable.
I don't often leave reviews, but in this case I did as I was so impressed with everything and I will certainly return some day with my wife for a nice overnight in Dublin for a Gig or the likes.
Any scandal from the Christmas Party?
No scandal at all, everyone behaved and everyone had a great night until the early hours of the morning.
There was one guy taking the piss with the free bar ordering double vodka and red bulls mind you. There's always one eh...
