Low Pressure

About a month ago, the town was packed. People from all over the country were here, enjoying what they called a vacation 😀. Honestly, I wouldn’t call my town a proper tourist destination, but hey... if they want to come, who am I to say no?

Back in the day during summer, we used to have college students coming home for vacation, and to be honest, I really miss those times. I miss the nights at the club, the summer evenings filled with beer, laughter, and good music. I kind of miss a lot of my teenage years too.

Despite not having much in the way of redesign over the past few decades, the town is still quite livable. Tourists come and go, but we stick around through the winter as well.

I’ve had my fair share of wandering, but honestly, I don’t feel the urge to do that anymore. I’ve come to terms with this place and the life I’m living here. Sure, bigger cities offer more opportunities for business and work, but they also come with a lot more pressure.

Whether it’s financial, social, or mental pressure, living in a city sure has plenty of it. You don’t feel that here. There’s no "boiling point" in our small community. I’ve lived in big cities before, and I don’t think I’d do it again.

As we continue moving forward with technological progress, I have a gut feeling that big cities are going to feel more and more like prisons in the future. For all sorts of reasons... Plus, you don’t get the beautiful nature we have here. You really don’t.

Speaking of technology, my plan is to leverage blockchain, crypto, and anything tech-related as much as possible to provide myself with a comfortable life—right here, where the grass is greener, and the air is still breathable. Just my two cents before I head to bed...

Have a nice Sunday evening, and see you all tomorrow.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
