Hello everyone

I hope you all are doing fine. As i was looking for the ongoing contest and their titles today on hive, i found this one hosted by #indiaunited and found the topic really interesting and nostalgic. This title is capable of bringing so many memories back and if you want more information about how to participate in the contest just click here.

Let's began from my childhood when i always wanted to play games on mobile phone but this damn society never supports the mobile in a child's hand. That's the reason i never got a mobile phone for more than half an hour or maximum for an hour in my hand as a child. The worst part was that even my elder brothers were not giving it to me. That's why i always wanted to become adult in no time so that i can also use mobile phone as much as i want.

Time passed and i reached the class 8th when i started to demand for a mobile phone but my parents were saying "No, you will not focus on your studies then, or you will become careless after the arrival of mobile phone" hence, they are were ignoring and denying my demand. This caused frustration in me because the school environment was really triggering me. Everyone of my class fellow had a smart mobile in their hand with their Instagram id and Facebook id which was the main cause of my frustration.

I called one of my father's cousin and told him the whole situation. We south Asians always consider the west being a modern society and having a modern way of thinking. And that's true i think because that uncle understood me and instantly called my father. I don't know what he said to him but my father agreed and there was a Samsung galaxy tab waiting for me the next day. Still not a mobile phone but it was a lot better than having no smart phone.

I was happy for sure but there was something itchy still. I couldn't take it along with me in the school because of its huge size but i made my Facebook and Instagram profiles. That was something really new and interesting at the start for me. Also my house fellas were not happy whenever they saw that devil (according to them) in my hands. But i never cared as i was really happy with my social circle.

As it was a start so my addiction was at peak unless i noticed something 😕. The blurry effect... I started to notice that things are a bit blurry when they get far from my eyes which never happened before. I talked about it with my mother and boom 💥. A havoc was created in my house, they took me to the doctor where i was been given a pair of glasses. They hid my tablet.

As i became addicted to tablet, so i asked them to return it back to me but they never agreed, i then promised them to set a timetable for its use on which they agreed. I never consider myself wrong in this case because i got a mobile phone after years and sticking to it day and night was obvious. If they had allowed me to use it earlier i might not stick to it this much and my eyesight might also be in its true form. But things were happened now so i took some steps.

I limited the use of tablet from holding it all day to some hours of the day. I got back to the routine of spending some of the time outside with my friends playing some outdoor games which i completely left because of this tablet. I have changed many mobile phones after that but the things which happened with me after my first smart device are unforgettable. Haha

Well, that's all from my side.

               GOODLUCK AND BEST WISHES 👌

I understand you my friend, something similar happened to me but I understand the fact of not wanting a child to spend so much time with the cell phone being a kid but now it is impossible not to be connected because everything is managed by whatsapp groups.

Oh ..really..mobile is the reason behind your eyesight.?
That is so bad..

Hmmm... I now regret that much use of screen but it is no use to regret now

I am glad that you liked it

I am really shocked to know that you got your phone in your eight standard. I got my phone when I started my Mdcat !

Well, that was a tablet and there is a difference between a tablet and a mobile phone. Thanks for your comment

Then why you gave title? "My first mobile phone"?

So that's my blog and not yours... So I better decide what should be the title

In the same way, that was my choice of words not yours. I will decide which word I have to use!

But you are commenting under my blog.. MY

Your uncle really did a good job by talking to your dad to get you a new phone and I only can imagine how the experience felt like.

Yeah it was a wonderful experience at the start. Thanks for your comment
