Today, eight years ago in Berlin, I started my Hive life. It means my 9th Hive life starts today. I created my account on Steem, Hive's predecessor, and started blogging on Steemit. The first year was a bit challenging as I tried to find my way and build connections. There were times when I took breaks, but thanks to the amazing Japanese community and many other supportive groups and likeminded users, I've been able to keep going.
Nowadays, I spend time in communities like Hive JA, Actifit, Foodie Bee Hive, Plant Power (Vegan), Beer, Hive Garden, and Free Complements. Photography Lovers, Cycling, Rant, Complain, Talk, Alien Art Hive, Cinnamon Cup Coffee, Hive Book Club are my favorites too.
No other crypto-related service has been as central to my daily life as Hive Blog. Since I entered the crypto world in 2016, Hive has been a constant in my connection to crypto world.
While earning rewards on Hive Blog is great, what I really love is the sense of community and the connections with people from all over the world who understand and appreciate the decentralized world of cryptocurrencies. As an immigrant, I’ve always been drawn to services like Bitcoin and Wikileaks that can’t be stopped by anyone, even by governments.
Every year when I write this anniversary post, I wished for Hive’s continued existence. But this year, I feel Hive is stable enough and no need to write about it. Of course I wish so but instead of writing that wish, I celebrated today by ordering a cake at my favorite café 😊 🎂
I look forward to another year of fun and writing valuable posts on Hive Blog, and to connecting with all of you. I'll be posting regularly and attending the Hive Fest 2024 in Croatia in September, hoping to make new friends there.

ちょうど8年前の今日、Hiveの前身のSteemのアカウントを作って、Steemitでブログを書き始めました。最初の一年は右も左もわからず、思うようにつながりを作れずにお休みしてしまう期間もありましたが、その後は日本語コミュニティはじめ、よくしてくださるみなさんやコミュニティのおかげでこんなにも長く使い続けることができました。
最近ではHive JA、Actifit、Foodie Bee Hive、Plant Power (Vegan)、Beer、Hive Garden、Free Complementsといったコミュニティにお世話になっています。頻繁に投稿するわけではありませんが、Photography LoversやCycling、Rant, Complain, Talk、Alien Art Hive、Cinnamon Cup Coffee、Hive Book Clubも大好きです。
暗号通貨に関するサービスでHive Blog以上に日々使っているものはありません。2016年にこの世界に出入りし始めて、暗号通貨と私の接点を保ち続けてくれているサービスともいえます。
Hive Blogでは報酬をもらえるのはもちろんうれしいのですが、なんというか「暗号通貨や分散型の世界に理解がある前提に趣味でつながれる」ところと、いろいろな国の人がいるところが大好きで居心地がいいのです。移民として生きているからか、そもそもそういう世界に憧れがあったからか、私はBitcoinやWikileaksのような誰にも止められないサービスに魅力を感じます。
毎年このX年目スタートの投稿を書くたびに「来年もHiveが存続していますように！」と書いていると思いますが、もうここまできたら大丈夫そうかな？今年は心の中で願って書きません。でもちょっとお祝いをしたくて、今日はカフェでケーキを頼みました 😊 🎂
9年目の今年も楽しい・役立つ投稿をしつつ、みなさんと交流していけたらと思います。日々投稿しつつ、9月にはクロアチアで開催されるHive Festに参加して、また新たなつながりができるかな、楽しみです。
