Attending Hive Fest After 8 Years
This year was full of fun moments on the Hive blockchain, but the ultimate highlight was attending Hive Fest in person for the first time in eight years since Kraków 2018. When the location was announced in the spring, I found out it would be held in Croatia—not too far from where I live in Germany—so I decided to go.
In 2018, my ticket was generously sponsored by @fusan from the Japanese community. This time, I saved up HBD to purchase the ticket without involving fiat currency. Thank you to everyone who supported me with upvotes and tips. In August, I successfully bought the ticket with HBD, and in September, I was finally able to attend Hive Fest.
Unlike last time, when many from the Japanese community attended, I was quite nervous to join alone. But the warm welcome I received reminded me of how amazing and supportive the Hive community truly is. I was also delighted to meet people whose names I’ve seen on Hive Blog and whose posts I’ve been reading for so long.
I enjoyed talks about Hive and projects, Real Beer Saturday, talking with like minded Hive users, delicious food, and the beautiful blue sea and skies of Croatia.
After returning home, I was so pumped up that I designed and printed Hive stickers on a whim. I’ve been happily distributing them everywhere I go 😊
Hoping to increase Japanese users, I wrote an article about Hive Fest for a Japanese media where I write regularly. I hope this gives a little back to the community.

My daughter has grown quite a bit, so next year, even if it’s far away, I’m ready to go! I’ve already saved $300 worth of HBD for the Hive Fest 2025 ticket. 😁
A Fun-Packed Year on Hive in 2024
Selling My NFTs
Last year, thanks to @djynn and @go-kyo from Hive JA, I sold my very first NFT. This year, I continued exploring NFTs at a slow pace, still wondering what they are exactly. Platforms like @nftshowroom have given me a place to display my work, and step by step, I’ve had the opportunity to sell some, learn and building up my NFT definition along the way.
At the beginning of this year, @go-kyo hosted an exhibition in Voxels. With the addition of @hancos and @cameshow —two metaverse-savvy pros—to Hive JA, I’ve joined tours and learned a lot. Next year, I secretly hope to hold my own exhibition in the metaverse 😉
Ninth Year on Hive, Reputation Score Reached to 74
I was first introduced to Stxxm/Stxxmit by a university friend back in 2016. After the Tron War hard fork in 2020, I transitioned to Hive/Hive Blog. That’s eight years in total, and this July marked the start of my ninth year. Next year will be my tenth. Wow!
During the Hive Fest, my posts received significant upvotes, bumping my reputation score to 73. I thought reaching 74 within the year might be tough, but before I knew it… there it was! Next year, I’m aiming for 75—and if I’m really ambitious, maybe even 80 💪
Writing a Weekly Garden Journal
This year, I started my micro-balcony garden journal earlier than usual, in February. I managed to write it almost every Sunday—sometimes a little late, on Monday or Tuesday. While I have gardening friends in my city, it’s been a joy to regularly document my progress and connect with crypto-loving gardeners around the world on Hive. Big thanks to Hive Garden and @gardenhive that they host the community!
Next year, my goal is to complete a full year of weekly garden journal entries.

Wrapping Up
As I wrote this post, I scrolled back through everything I’ve shared this year—from growing and eating plants, to creating and fixing things, drinking beer, and traveling. It’s wonderful to have a space where I can document these moments, share them, and connect with fellow crypto enthusiasts.
A huge thank you to all the witnesses running nodes, the developers creating these amazing services, and every reader and writer in the Hive community.
Let’s make the most of the last two weeks of this year and look forward to another wonderful year on Hive in 2025! 😊

8年ぶりのHive Fest
今年もHiveブロックチェーン上で、リアルでたくさんたのしいことがあったのですが、一番のハイライトといえば、やはり2018年のクラコフの回に参加して以来8年ぶりにHive Festにリアルで参加できたことです。春に開催地が発表されて、私が住んでいるドイツとそこまで遠くないクロアチアでの開催と知り、参加することにしました。
2018年のチケットは日本コミュニティの @fusan にスポンサーしていただいて、今回はせっかくなのでHBDを貯めて法定通貨を介さずにチケットを購入することにしました。Upvoteやチップでご支援いただいたみなさん、本当にありがとうございます。8月に無事HBDでチケットを買って、9月に念願叶ってHive Festに参加しました。
前回参加したときのようにたくさん日本コミュニティの方が来るわけではなく、ドキドキで参加しましたが、あたたかく迎え入れてもらえて、Hiveって本当にいいコミュニティだなとしみじみ思いました。長らくHive Blogでお名前を見ていたり、記事を読んだりしていた人たちとお会いできたのもうれしかったです。
Hiveについてのトーク、プロジェクトのトーク、リアルビアサタデー、おいしい食事に青い海と空を堪能しました。
帰国後はテンションが爆上がりで、ノリと勢いでHiveのスティッカーをりました。日々貼って配って歩いています。
日本のユーザーが増えたらいいなと思って、Hive Festの様子を長らく記事を書かせていただいているメディアで紹介しました。ちょっとでも恩返しになっていたらいいな。

NFTが売れた！
去年、@djynn さんと @go-kyo さんお二人のHive JA ladiesのおかげで、人生で初めてNFTを売るという経験をさせていただききました。今年もNFTってなんなのだろうと考えながら、スローペースで作ってみて、@nftshowroom というNFTを発表する場があって、少しずつ買っていただいて、作りながら学んでいます。
今年は年初に @go-kyo さんがVoxelsで展示をして、さらにHive JAにメタバースに強い @hancos さんと @cameshow さん（強いというかプロ・・・）が入ってきたこともあり、ツアーなどで教えをこいながら、来年はメタバースで展覧会をできたらいいななんてこっそり企んでいます。

9年目に突入、レピュテーションスコアが74に！
2016年に大学時代の友人に教えてもらってStxxmitを知って、2020年のTron WarのハードフォークでHive/Hive Blogに移って、通算で8年を過ごし、7月に9年目に突入しました。来年は10年目・・・！Hive Blogやそこでのつながりは日常生活の中で欠かせないものになっています。
Hive Fest期間中の投稿に大きなupvoteをいただいて、レピュテーションスコアが73になり、年内に74は厳しいかなあと思っていたらいつの間にか。来年は75、ものすごいストレッチゴールでは80を目指してがんばりたいです💪
ガーデンジャーナルをほぼ毎週
今年は例年より早く、2月にマイクロバルコニーのガーデンジャーナルを書き始めて、多分毎週欠かさず日曜日に、時々遅れて月曜日や火曜日に書いています。ガーデニング仲間は今住んでいる街にもいるものの、毎週定期的に記録を残せて、クリプト好きのガーデニング仲間とつながれるHiveっていいな、Hive Garden / @gardenhive っていいなと改めて思うのでした。
このまま書き続けて、来年は初めて一年を通じてガーデンジャーナルを書いてみたいです。

この投稿を書くにあたって、この1年に書いた投稿を1月まで遡って振り返ってみました。植物を育てて、食べて、他にもものを作って直して、ビールを飲んで、旅行して・・・そんな記録を残してシェアして、クリプトについているみなさんとつながれる場所があるって素晴らしいですね。ノードを運営しているウィットネスのみなさん、サービスを作っている方々、読み手・書き手のみなさんに大感謝です。
