Monomad: Seashells

in #hive-14215910 days ago

As we did a few days ago, we returned to the Meuraksa estuary this afternoon. This afternoon's weather was quite sunny, and we arrived at the right time because the seawater was receding.

The four of us began to spread out, each looking for our favorite spots to take pictures. Those with sophisticated cameras chose to capture fishing boats going back and forth, flocks of egrets in the distance, or oyster seekers.

Someone preferred to sit casually on a rock while sipping coffee and smoking a cigarette, while his eyes looked at the Strait of Malacca far away.

I preferred to capture seashells on the beach. The empty shells were scattered like shards of ancient ceramics. Yeah, they were simple objects but beautiful to behold.
