Greetings fellow gardeners, we start a new month and the chores in the garden continue to try to keep our plants radiant and healthy.

It is an arduous task because we also have to deal with some pests and all kinds of insects that threaten the garden. In my region the dry season has already started, so the sun has been more intense and we have to do our best to make the plants resist this season.

I have noticed that some plants are beginning to wilt their leaves, so I thought of preparing a rice-based fertilizer, I read that it contains very valuable macro nutrients for plants, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc and proteins, among others, which provides energy to the plants.

However, I was also going to cook some beans for my lunch, but as I always soak them for several hours before preparation, when I did the second wash I saved the water and put it together with the rice water to also take advantage of its nutrients.

The process I did with the rice was very simple, I soaked a cup of rice for several hours, when I noticed that it was a little soft I took it to the blender, then I blended it trying not to leave too many sediments that could cause the proliferation of ants.

Then I put the rice water and the bean water in some containers, mixing them with more water to obtain a total of 5 liters of this preparation. So I put a little bit of this fertilizer on each plant and in a few days I noticed that my plants began to have more vigor and to look more beautiful.

I have always used the strained coffee wells to increase the flowering in my plants, this time I wanted to try with these ingredients that are of daily use and as I know that they are not going to cause damage to my plants because I had already used it separately when I washed these ingredients when I was preparing my meals, I wanted to obtain a more concentrated fertilizer.

It is important to emphasize that I did not put the rice grains directly because I consider that this could attract annoying insects that could damage the garden. With the rice leftovers left in the strainer I prepared an exfoliating mask for my face.

Well friends, I hope this month the tasks in the garden will not be so stressful and you can enjoy the goodness of your plants. Hugs! 🤗

I also use rice water sometimes for my garden.
But for vegetable plants, we need to be careful because put rice water directly with no fermentation first will have bad effect.
Tea powder or coffee powder also good for plants 😊

Yes, I also use the residue left over from brewing coffee and have found that my plants bloom more. Thanks for stopping by @anggreklestari

You have already used the number of tips you had for the day. Please try again tomorrow or buy more LOH tokens to send more tips.

I made an organic compost recipe, but with banana shells. The truth is that I was shocked by the terrible smell, but my plants thanked me for it. I will try this version of yours to see how it goes and I have seen some others in networks, what I like the most is that you even used the leftovers for a facial mask, greetings.

We have ingredients at home that we can use for many things. I like to take advantage of everything I can, the mask turned out great and my plants are more radiant. Greetings 🤗
