In my country we are already in the dry season but the rains never cease to surprise us, so we have to fight between the oppressive sun that tortures our plants and some sporadic rains that greens them.
A few weeks ago I showed you a fertilizer for my plants made from rice and I managed to have very good results. Look how my Cordyline fruticosa plants produced beautiful spikes that soon filled with tiny pink flowers. They really are a delight. 😃
Also, my banana plant is showing off with a beautiful bunch. It is worth noting that in my country banana is different from topocho, banana is a sweet fruit while topocho is a vegetable used to accompany meals. Although they are from the same family they have very different characteristics.
In spite of having had very hot days the vincas were full of flowers, the lechozo or papayas has several mini papayas and thanks to the kindness of the rains the lilies and amaryllis looked in all their splendor.
There is a very special lily that blooms at night, in November it was in full bloom, has a unique scent and is known as the wishing lily of the genus crinum.
I am trying to rearrange the sansevieras, in fact I think I will have to buy some pots to control their growth as they are planted directly in the ground and therefore have expanded too much to the point that I have had to donate some to a plaza in my locality.
I have had to pay more attention to the cactus and succulents because I have noticed that they have started to dehydrate then you have to be more careful with watering because too much water rots them, otherwise they fall into dehydration.
After harvesting my fig plant I did some pruning and new shoots are already starting to appear, I hope the next harvest will not take too long.
There is something that makes me very happy and that is that I managed to save my old adenium plant, a few months ago I published my failure when I tried to make some aerial layering to reproduce it. After having it almost completely finished it surprised me with two buds that are too beautiful, I believe that I am not going to lose it anymore, although I continue paying attention to its growth. This experience has been a tremendous lesson in gardening, fortunately it had a good outcome.
The work in the garden does not stop, now I will have to have the weeds cleared so that the grass looks uniform. In the meantime I think I am going to reapply the fertilizer based on rice and coffee wells to the plants while they bring me an organic fertilizer with cow and horse manure.
Well friends for the moment, I share this little review of my garden. I hope you liked it, have a nice day.
