The island of the dead pirates was a cursed place, with its sinister abandoned cemetery. Still, a group of friends decided to explore its dark secrets.
The atmosphere was gloomy, the palm trees whispered eerily in the sea breeze. Among the weathered tombs, one caught their attention: “Here lies Captain James, dead at sea”.
Suddenly, muffled knocking emerged from its crypt. Trembling, they opened it, finding an intact body...at first. Before their eyes, the flesh began to rot, the eyeballs became empty sockets.
Then, the corpse stood upright and spoke in a sepulchral voice:
-I am Captain James. I have been waiting for you.”
They tried to escape, but James caught them with his fleshless claws, dragging them back to the grave.
-Now you will be my crew... forever, -was the last thing they heard before the tombstone closed over them in the choking darkness.
In the neighboring village, those dupes were never seen again. The island of the dead pirates jealously guarded its secrets from beyond the grave.
