Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well today.
Today, I will share the story of Clementine and Aj, short for Alvin Junior, at Erickson's where their loyalties will be tested and new bonds must be made to replace the broken ones.
Without further ado, let's begin!
Marlon was shot from the beach of his head by Aj like he had been taught to do by Clem after he tried to pin the blame for killing Brody in cold blood in the basement. Clem was drawn to the basement after she was woken up by 2 voices that traveled through the pipes, so she went and discovered Brody and Marlon discussing the stranger Clementine, Louis, and the others had met in their supply run outside the safe zone as the food was running low. They did not catch many rabbits in their traps as they were disarmed, meaning someone stole from them. However, they caught some fish from the river. Clementine and Aj set out for fishing first after receiving the official permission to stay at the dorms from Marlon. They went with Violet and Brody before joining the hunt for rabbits with Aasim and Louis.
Brody spilled the beans in the basement about giving away Tennesse's sisters to the raiders to keep the people safe. Marlon got angry and smacked her head with the flashlight so hard that her head cracked open.
The game gave a short recap of all the events that took place at Erickson's leading up to the point where Aj shot Marlon.
Aj still did not know what he did wrong. Clementine calmly said that shooting someone who was not a threat regardless of their villainous acts was unjust and wrong.
Aj asked if he had become the monster since he was called a murderer by the others and wondered if he should die. Clem reassured him and told him that he was not a monster, she said that they would have to fix this issue together.
Aj asked Clem if her killing of Lee was murder. Clem said that she did not want Lee to turn into a walker, so he ended his suffering for him.
Ten came into the room and behaved normally with Aj. He did not think Aj was a murderer since Marlon had given away his sisters to the raiders.
The children already buried Brody and Marlona and held a funeral. Clem and Aj arrived late. Everyone except Violet was alarmed.
Aj asked about the significance of the funeral, Clem said that it was a way of bidding farewell to the deceased.
The children took turns to say something about the dead. Ten drew a picture of the beach for Brody since she always wanted to visit. Violet was about to say a few good words about Marlon but could not do it... she remembered how he gave away the twin sister to the raiders.
Mitch was still bitter from the last night. He accused Aj of murdering Marlon which Aj owned up and told him that he would atone for it. Louis walked away after hearing it, he did not want another debate.
He said that Clem and Aj could not be trusted since they did kill someone after the issue was on the verge of being resolved. So, Mitch called for a vote, the majority would decide their stay at the school. Clem tried to appeal for the people not to do it but Omar pointed out that they had to vote, otherwise, they would always argue over it.
Violet and Louis came to Clem's room. She broke the bad news that they would have to leave. Louis added Aj was dangerous to everyone. Aj got upset on hearing it. Violet gave them time to pack up.
Before they left, Louis asked for Aj's gun since he could not trust him with it when they walked by the woods. I made Clem ask Aj to keep the gun since that was the only way we could defend ourselves should zombies arrive.
They were outside the safe zone now. Just before they left, Aj thanked Violet for fighting to let them stay at the dorm. Violet disclosed how about half the children thought Clem and Aj were as bad as Marlon or even worse, otherwise, they could've stayed.
Just minutes of walking through the woods, they found the guy from the train station. He should've been eaten by the walkers or so Aj thought. Clem hid behind the tree, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
She did get the guy but she was pushed to the ground by another one of the raiders. Aj came out of the bush and he also got caught. The guy said that both the children were fighters. The one who held Clementine asked if she knew Marlon who ran a school nearby. Clem told her that he was dead, so she was asked to take them to school.
After Clem refused, the raider turned Clem over and instantly recognized who it was. It was Lily, the one who stole the RV from Lee and Kenny after she had shot Carly in the face back in season 1. All the memories came flooding back to her.
Lily snarked about Lee. She said that Lee was too hopeful of people, that is what got him killed and the same would happen to Clem if she does not cut off Aj from her. It could be a walker she missed, a bullet that she could not dodge, or a cry that would alert the herd. Clem said that Aj could handle himself pretty well, and Lily agreed. She said that Aj had spirit but sooner or later he would slip up.
She asked Clem to join their Delta force, they had working solar panels that provide electricity, and they grow their food. They only needed recruits to maintain all that which is why they needed everyone in the school to join them.
In the bushes, Louis and Violet were hiding and heard everything. They were waiting for the perfect time to strike the intruders. I made Clem give them the green signal and right then Violet let loose an arrow that hit Lily's shoulder. Clem took that opportunity to run, Abel shot his shotgun and hit Louis' arm.
Clem and Aj ran away from the two until a group of walkers surrounded Lily and Abel. That way they got away from the pursuers but Aj was hit by Lily. Aj could no longer run.
Clem sat her behind a tree and cleared a few zombies before a mysterious guy with a mask came over and directed the zombies in the other direction and took them to his camp.
Clem took out the pellets inside Aj without any anesthesia... boy was it painful for the little kid. Not as much as the kids in Gaza though.
The guy's name was James and called himself a whisperer. He asked Clem if she knew anything about the raiders back there. Clem said that they stole children. James informed that their entire community was at war against one another and that's why they needed recruits to fight for them.
The two talked more about themselves and their time in the wild. He asked Clem what she would do now, Clem said that she would go back to school and warn the kids about the incoming raiders. James respected Clem even more.
He offered to escort her back to the school and Clem accepted.
As soon as they entered the school grounds, everyone was super worried about Aj and his health. Ruby took one look at him and asked Clem to take him upstairs, she had the right stuff on her hands.
Violet and Clem had a long conversation. Violet asked about the lady in the woods. Clem told her about her past with her. How Lily's dad was a racist asshole and she backed him up at every step of the way. Then she gunned down a woman named Carly simply because she would not let Lily push her around.
Violet questioned about the stranger she brought with her. Clem told her that the new guy's name was James who had let them sleep in his camp, and he wore walker skin. That way, he could walk past herds and even direct them.
Violet was worried about everyone's reaction to Clme coming back to school grounds, Clem told her about the incoming threat that they were about to face. In the face of that, their petty feelings and wants were nothing.
Violet finally agreed to the impending threat and asked where they should plan their defenses. Clem showed all the weak spots and where they would hold their ground after they retreat.
After that, Violet ordered Mitch to accompany Clem to the Greenhouse to find the barbed wire. Ruby volunteered to go with the two to keep the peace since Mitch was still bitter from their last encounter.
And that's it for today's episode. We saw huge developments in the story now since Lily is back in the fray after her shameful acts in season 1. I truly want the kids to fend off the raiders as much as they can but I know for a fact that they can't do it fully as they are mere children. Whatever happens, the next episode is going to be a fission of developments for Clem, Aj, and the children of Erickson!
