Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I will share another sequence of Clementine and Aj's life: stressful, exciting, and adventure-filled.
Without further ado, let's begin!
The kids started to arrange for a small party after their plan to rescue their friends from the raiders' boat was pretty much confirmed after James agreed to help with his collection of walkers. They got the information about the location of the boat from Abel, the only raider left behind during the siege made by the raiders, led by Lily, at Erickson. They also met Minnie, one of the twins Marlon gave away to protect everyone else at this school. Clem tortured him a bit, let Rosie loose, and let him smoke weed. Violet gave the green card to torture after she and her friends failed to extract that information.
Ruby brought them 3 modes of festivity: a music player, a tinted candle, and a banner.
For each of these modes, there were 3 choices. The first choice for music from Clem was country, I did not want jazz as it would be too much of a celebration. Classical would've been a good choice but I wanted to see what country music the game devs included.
Next, it was the candles. I did not want red, as it would've signaled aggression or sadness, I did not want purple as it reminded me of Goku's ultra instinct. So, I went with green, the color of life.
And lastly, for the banner, I wanted something positive. I did not want Aj to pick as I did not trust the kid. I went with the, "See you on the other side". Aj explained to Ruby that Clem told him that during the times when he needed to be brave. Ruy agreed to it and asked that they all needed to be brave this time.
Clem headed outside to check on the other kids. The first she encountered was Willy. He was working on another explosive that would sink the raiders's boat, a pretty bombastic idea. He also added that it would only explode when they were off the boat so it was safe. Willy also apologized for treating Tenn the way he did, CLem asked him to say it to Tenn himself.
A few moments later, we see Willy and Tenn working on a project... suggested by Willy!
Ruby brought files that had written records of all the children who transferred to this school. She made Clem a challenge, to guess who the person was from the ones she knew.
The first file she read was of a child who got into frequent troubles with senior faculty and swore every time she got angry. I had 3 choices: Marlon, Ruby, or Violet. I chose Marlon but boy was I wrong. Violet corrected me and told me that was Ruby the perp. Violet went on to compare her with the Tasmanian Devil from the cartoon.
Willy shared his reason for being sent there... it was chronic masturbation and he was proud of it. Violet said that he did not have to say it. Aj did not know what that meant, Clem told everyone not to tell. Tenn sneaked and told Aj what it meant.
Later, the kids changed the music and Violet sang the song that Minnie used to sing. A song named, "Don't be afraid". Her voice was amazing.
People were wilding in the comments section when they saw a flashback with Lee on the train. This was a scene from season 1 and it made me and the viewers very nostalgic. This is where Clem had another flashback some time ago. She wanted to discuss something with Lee, this time it was clearing her mind from the leadership thing. She was second-guessing and concerned about the consequences of her actions. Lee encouraged her and told them that this time she would have her friends, and this time she would get out of the situation she was in.
Before leaving Lee, I made Clem say how much she missed him, a part of me missed Lee here as well. Lee asked about Aj, Clem said that he was already a hardened shooter.
Clem ran and hugged Lee, a golden period of moment in the entire series. I loved this part.
After this, it was back to the zombie-verse.
James showed up with his collection of zombies and more near the woods. They gathered for one final review of their plan. Willy was excited to see James' mask, it looked too realistic.
Violet was a bit stressed and needed some air. Clem went up to her and gave her a small motivation, a kiss.
They mushed walker guts on their clothes walked behind them and took them as human shields, much like the IDF reported about the people of Gaza which is total bs.
They made it to the pier but a soldier was in front of the entrance. So, they went underwater.
On her way to the surface, Clem's feet get grabbed by a walker. Somehow, she managed to brush it off.
Then, they carefully evaded the onlookers from the boat and entered.
The first guy Clem finished as they searched for the boiler room. Then, she placed Mitch's Masterpiece, the bomb that Willy made in remembrance of Mitch, below the engine of the boat.
They went around where they found another guy shooting at the incoming walkers. Clem shot her in the throat giving him no time to react.
They reached the second floor and saw Minnie was the floor guardian. Clem decided not to attack her and gave up the element of surprise. Minnie was furious at them and asked if Tenn was around. Clem told her that Tenn forgave her. Minnie dropped her crossbow and asked them to be quick.
She let them inside the cell where Louis was, Clem was about to tap on his shoulder when Minnie knocked her out and drove Violet and Aj toward another cell.
When she came to, she found out from Aasim that they cut out Louis' tongue. He kept on talking, the raiders could not handle it.
She looked around the room and found that there was something weird about the metal sheets.
And that is it for today. What a crazy adventure these kids had! They partied till night and had their rest for a while. Clem dreamt about Lee yet again, and this time she got to hug him. It was sad they cut out Louis' tongue but it was unavoidable... he was a chatterbox. I really hope Minnie is thinking about double-crossing the raiders since his brother was one of the children fighting for freedom.
