Hello everybody i hope you are all well. Today I invite you in along a small historic town in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland near the border to Lichtenstein and Austria. First the Werdenberg Castle on a hill which date back to the 13th century. The nature and landscape all around is amazing. The walk begins in the medieval old town along the narrow cobbled streets. The path can be a bit steep in some areas. after a short walk about 20 min. you are on the top. Because we had made another trip before it was already late and the castle was closed.
Werdenberg with only about 60 inhabitants is known as the smallest town in Switzerland. The Werdenberg Lake at the food of the castle, offer relaxing walking paths and a quiet atmosphere.
Werdenbergis also know for its charming well preserved old town, with traditional wooden houses. Next time more about it.
Have a beautiful day!
