The current splinterlands season is approaching the end and will end in approximately three days. I have unlocked Diamond League already and am trying to unlock the Champion League for that I have approximately these three days. I will utilise this time to play as many as better possible so that I can unlock the league I wanted and I prefer to end the season in the Champion League which can be champion three or champion two depending upon whatever I can achieve.
From next season onwards we are going to have a new set of reward cards in the game and it is just a matter of three days. The details have been shared already about these reward cards and the upcoming abilities so now the countdown is on to have the set of cards available in the game. Apart from this, the update about voucher tokens has already been shared and I think this change is also good for the voucher token economy. Currently, I am in Diamond 1 and my boost is 7.65X. I'm trying to grow my sps holding so that I can also increase the boost or multiplier whatever you call it. There are some factors based on which this boost works but out of all SPS is the biggest component so whoever has a bigger stake in SPS will get the higher boost multiplier.
For the updates about voucher tokens, I would say please go through the below post in which everything is shared. The team is trying to make some changes for the betterment of the voucher token and after this change, we will not be able to avail the token for a discount in the game. They are also planning to add some stuff in the reward shop that can be purchased through the voucher. It's like more utility for this token is coming on the good game but let's see how it works and what impact it brings on the game ecosystem.
Splinterlands Voucher System Overhaul
The changes will come in phases which I think is also good because bringing all changes in one go might create a lot of issues so it is better to bring all those changes in parts. I have a good chunk of pouchers because I earn through the licence as well as SPS holding and I will see if I can buy some from the market since I expect a better use case for the voucher token in the game. Maybe I can buy something valuable in the game through the vouchers and this time the voucher price is very low in the market. Also, the voucher token will be tradable in the high engine but it will not be possible to withdraw vouchers from the game to the exchange. But we will be able to transfer from the exchange to the game account always without any problem or restriction.
For now, I am excited about the upcoming set of rewards cards that will be available from the fifteenth of August onwards. It's like from the next season onwards we will be having those new cards in the game and this will also bring the sunset for the existing cards as printing for those will discontinue once the new set is available.
