It was a cold morning in the winter when Jane realised that she had no water to prepare for breakfast šŸ„ž. Her little son Dave was fast asleep in his little baby couch. Jane needs to prepare for breakfast before her husband set out for the day's work. She rose from the bed and reached out for the plastic keg neatly kept at the kitchen area.

Soon she hit the tiny and unwindy path that leads to the stream. By that time of the day there was nobody on the lonely path leading to the stream let alone seeing someone in the stream. She was a bit afraid but had to fetch the water.

In a matter of minutes she was on her way home. Few poles away from her house she saw a few persons gathered in front of the house. By then too it was becoming brighter to see people's faces. One of the women who gathered there was holding his little baby. Jane's heart left with fear. "What happened"? she asked. In a low voice the woman told her that the son had fallen down from the bed and it appears that he had broken one of her leg.

Jane dropped the keg of water and rushed to Dave. The little man was already in pains and crying. Jane rushed him to the hospital where after few minutes of attention it was suggested that the leg is already bad. Don't amputate the leg Jane insisted. A little more attention will see the young man recover, she opined.

For three weeks running Jane remained in the hospital waiting for divine intervention.
