My heart cannot contain the joy I feel inside of me.. I'm indeed grateful.
You know most times when we pray, we keep asking for more blessings, more than we actually recount our blessings.
Today, I just wanna be thankful for everything I possess : Life, family, friends, and the every little gift around me.
My childhood friend called today and even made my day happier. It's been a long time we last heard from each other and hearing from her made me super elated. #Drumsroll.. She just got engaged. I have a wedding to plan. In a world filled with uncertainties, goodnews like this is something to be grateful for.
I like it when people around me are happy and winning. It makes me feel like it's my win also. I'm glad to know she's doing well for herself.
Today too, I reflected on my Hive goals which I set at the beginning of the year and how far I've come. I would soon make a detailed post about it by the end of the month.
One thing that makes me feel excited is the fact, I keep a positive view despite the days life hits hard.
I always believe that, it will only get better no matter how bad it gets. So that has helped me to view each struggle as temporal.
One thing I know is..the power of gratitude can never be over emphasized. I was raised to be thankful for everything and that has made be a very contented person.
Although, we strive to achieve more, I ensure I do not downplay my little wins and I do not take for granted the little things around me.
I still have few more days to go to wrap up the year and I am not snoozing on any of my goals. What if I do not reach all of them before 2025? I won't create a deadline for myself, thus making my joy dwindle. Our joy is not measured by how much we've lived but how well we've lived and truly lived.
Most times we keep our lives in hold because we hope to attain a particular goal. Isn't it high time we lived this life to the fullest? What are you grateful for?
I will be forever grateful for the gift of connection, peace of mind and gift of family.
Let's all begin December with gratitude and keep regrets aside. Let the what-ifs be and just say thank you for everything you are and have attained.
Remember, gratitude opens door for more blessings.
