Happy holidays, my dear online friends. I hope you have a good time gathering with your family. Our family doesn't celebrate Christmas because we are Muslim. We have Eid celebrations coming up in a few months.
Even though we don't celebrate Christmas, most people in our area usually spend their holidays by going to other cities. The thing is, in my area, there are no tourist attractions. So, families who want to enjoy their holidays will go out of town, for example to destinations such as beaches, mountains, and nature campsites.
As a result of the holidays on the calendar, my city looks really quiet. But that has a positive side. The city streets look clean from vehicle pollution. Also, the cafes are not too crowded.
Meanwhile, my husband and I enjoyed the day at home. For us, there is no holiday on the calendar, because our jobs allow us to create our own holidays. :)
I'm refocusing on arranging my garden, and choosing what seeds I will start planting next month. Also, I'm busy looking for inspiration for plants that I can try planting in my garden later, plants that I have never planted before.
This afternoon, before it got dark, I had just finished fertilizing my chili plants. Then, my husband invited me to enjoy the quiet streets by motorbike. Also, after that, we stopped by our favorite cafe that we have visited often because the prices of the menus in the cafe are cheap, only around 2-3 dollars.
Coincidentally, I haven't cooked for dinner. So, I decided to have dinner at this cafe. It seems like eating noodles is the right choice because I just rode a motorbike and needed a warm menu like noodles served with warm soup.
I ordered a traditional Acehnese noodle menu. The noodle soup was served with pieces of tuna fish.
The gravy of the noodle dish was very rich in flavor with special spices. Actually, I have also often ordered this noodle soup menu, again and again.
The taste of the gravy always reminds me of my late mom's noodles even though it doesn't use fish filling like the dish in this cafe.
Meanwhile, the topping of the tuna fish is quite abundant and satisfying. They are not stingy to serve tuna fish filling on this noodle soup. Although the price of this dish is not more than 2 dollars.
This noodle soup with tuna fish is also served with fresh garnishes such as pickled onions and cucumbers, with crackers and chilies.
After eating, I ordered a hot drink to spend time in this cafe while checking my online work, and also my Youtube.
I got an email from YouTube about the performance of my YouTube account. I am very happy, that soon, I will be able to monetize my Youtube account with advertising features from Youtube.
I ordered a delicious hot chocolate. For now, I want to drink a caffeinated drink that is not as strong as coffee.
Oh, a hot chocolate drink is really comfortable on my body. Also feels like bringing me to a holiday atmosphere for my body. Relax....
See you, and until next. Happy holiday, everyone!
Best Regards,
