Hello, good morning everyone. Today I wanted to make my top 5 favorite drinks, in this case, focused on the ones we consume in my country, Venezuela, since some of them are popular and typical here. I concentrated only on the prepared drinks, because if we are talking about universal favorites, I think water is everyone's favorite because it is vital and necessary, and although it has no flavor, it is satisfying to drink it when the body asks for hydration. I confess that I like many other beverages, but I have selected the ones that I always go for when it comes time to choose. I will mention them below:

1.- In position 5 I place wine, which of all, the one I like the most is the apple wine that we almost always consume at Christmas and New Year's Eve. Although in the celebrations where we have made toasts lately, we have unanimously chosen red wine or sangria.

Hola, muy buenos días a todos. Hoy quise hacer mi top 5 de bebidas favoritas, en este caso, enfocada en las que consumimos en mi país, Venezuela, ya que algunas son populares y típicas de acá. Me concentré únicamente en las bebidas preparadas, ya que si se trata de favoritas en forma universal, creo que el agua es la preferida de todos ya que es vital y necesaria, y aunque no tiene sabor alguno, es satisfactorio tomarla cuando el cuerpo nos pide hidratación. Les confieso que me gustan muchas bebidas más, pero seleccioné las que al momento de escoger, siempre me inclino por ellas. A continuación se las menciono:

1.- En el puesto 5 coloco el vino, que de todos, el que me gusta más es el de manzana que casi siempre lo consumimos en navidad y año nuevo. Aunque en las celebraciones donde últimamente hemos hecho brindis, por unanimidad hemos escogido el vino tinto o la sangría.

2.- In the 4th place I placed the chicha criolla, that delicious Venezuelan rice-based drink that at least in my country we can find a typical stall that sells it everywhere. At home we prepare it, but never the same as the chicha experts of the region, those people come with the tradition in the cradle, and give it a special touch that we do not know, but that we love.

2.- En el puesto 4 coloqué a la chicha criolla, esa deliciosa bebida venezolana en base a arroz que al menos en mi tierra conseguimos por cualquier parte un puesto típico que la vende. En la casa la preparamos, pero nunca igual que los expertos en chicha de la región, esa gente viene con la tradición en la cuna, y le dan un toque especial que no conocemos, pero que nos encanta.

3.- In the third place of my favorites is the strawberry milkshake or strawberry merengada, either of the two that have this fruit that I love.Strawberry is my favorite fruit, and I eat it in cakes, jam, smoothies, meringues, ice cream, with cream, or alone.

3.- En el puesto 3 de mis favoritas está el batido o merengada de fresa, cualquiera de los dos que lleven esa fruta que me encanta. La fresa es mi fruta preferida, y la consumo en tortas, mermelada, batidos, merengadas, helados, con crema, o solas.

4.- In position 2, I leave malt, that drink that Venezuelans cannot miss when they go out in the street and ask for an empanada, an arepa, a pastelito, or a hot dog. The list of combinations is longer, but I summarized it, hahaha.I can even drink it alone, very cold.

4.- En el puesto 2, dejo a la malta, esa bebida que a los venezolanos no les puede faltar cuando salen a la calle y piden una empanada, una arepa, un pastelito, o un perro caliente. La lista de combinaciones es más larga, pero la resumí, jajaja. Hasta solita me la puedo tomar, bien fría.

5.- Y en el puesto 1, era imposible quitarle ese lugar, colocaré al café, como dice la frase, negrito, con leche o marrón… y el mío si es guayoyo, aún mejor, pero me gusta de cualquier manera, y con la combinación que quieran. El café es mi vitamina del día, al levantarme y recibir el amanecer, en el desayuno, la merienda, después del almuerzo, y en las tardes de frío.
