Hello Hive coffee lovers!!! It's nice to be back here again, sharing this wonderful day with a cup of coffee and a laptop with me. When coffee is life, of course Hive is lifer, and it’s a part of my daily routine. It's a perfect team: the Internet, coffee, Hive, and the Cinnamon Cup Coffee community.
I couldn’t imagine what life would be like without the internet, coffee, and Hive. I have been a Hiver since 2020, and I created my account in 2017. Hive became the biggest part of my life during pandemic days, and now I have decided Hive will be my cryptocurrency, but I prefer the airdrops as they do not require investments.
Because of my love of Hive, I have onboarded 23 newbies since last December of 2024, excluding my old invites from 2020 and last year when I became a DBuzz ambassador, but I have stopped now and decided to focus on my Hive mentorship program.
Every day I conducted a Hive training for newbies from onboarding, account creation, proper posting, engagement, up to withdrawal. It's not that easy because the newbies are out of knowledge, but I am thankful that they are all fluent in writing English. I have been very patient in guiding them and answering their queries.
These past few days I feel burn out from keep working online and I am thinking I need a place where I am comfortable working with my Hive.blog postings, training, and cryptocurrency. Tonight I ask my daughter to come with me here in the Dunkin Donuts café. It's just a 10-minute ride by jeepney from our house.
When we arrive at Dunkin Donuts, I take a picture of the donuts at the café . I order cappuccino while my daughter likes the iced chocolate java, and then I order one box of mixed donuts. I prefer to order 1 box rather than per piece so that I can bring home some donuts for my kids at home.
I started composing this post while drinking a cup of coffee. It makes my mind work's thinking about what to compose, and what I like in this café is the veranda or the terrace outside where I can see some vehicles passing in the street because at home I can see nothing but walls.
What I do not like about Dunkin Donuts is that they do not have any outlet provided for laptop charging while we could work online. I am always worried that my laptop and my phone will get drained from the battery, and I cannot continue working, and the too much cold aircon is a good thing; they have a terrace where there’s no air conditioning, but the veranda sometimes is fully occupied.
And I like to see other people working online in this café too. I think this place can be a perfect place for our Hive meetup too soon with my fellow co-Hivers from Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro to have some chitchat with coffee about Hive and cryptocurrency, which will be held this coming January 2024, 2025, lead by me and with my longtime Hiver friend @godlovermel25.
I am excited for this meetup; it will be the first Hive meetup here in Mindanao, Philippines, and hopefully we could also organize a meetup in other places of Mindanao, like in Davao City and Malaybalay, Bukidnon. Of course, I would also like to introduce the Cinnamon Cup Coffee community because I know there are too many coffee lovers out there who will enjoy his community like me.
My daughter and I enjoy’s this coffee getaway break tonight. I love the coffee, the donut, the ambiance outside, and, of course, I enjoy it most with Hive. My next target will be to visit the nature forest café where I enjoy working most to relieve my stress and to inhale fresh air, and I am so glad that I found this community to share my Hive and coffee moments.
