Summer, river, beach, happiness

This is a post to go with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay.

Friends, you can say that I have already bored you with my photos of the river, fields, meadows and forests. Recently, my former classmate told me a similar speech, that I show her more nature than my face.
But what should I show if I go for a walk in the woods and on the river with my dog almost everyday in the summer? In 1990, I had to choose my place of residence and work. Instead of a big city, I chose the outskirts of a small town to be able to walk to the river and into the forest.
In the morning I wake up and hear the birds singing outside the window and the Sun is looking in my window. For me, this is happiness!

I love the river. As a child, I lived 150 meters from the shore of a small river, and from spring to autumn almost all my life was connected with the river. And now I have the same rhythm of life if I am not away. Only now the distance to the river has become longer. It takes about 15 minutes.
By the way, there was water on this beach site 10 years ago. But now the sand has captured a large area and will soon reach the forest. My favorite fishing spot just disappeared.
I've been living in this place for 33 years now. I am watching the changes on the river and they do not please me. The opportunity to fish has become completely different.
Maybe I'm just getting old?

10 years ago, the water was right under my feet, under a high bank. Fishermen loved to fish in this place. And I walked along the shore with a spinning rod. Gradually, a sandy island appeared. Then the sand slid lower, and now the sand under the high bank began to overgrow with bushes. In the next 10 years, there will already be an impassable shrub in this place.

My companion in my walks is my dog Nora. It turned out that she also loves water very much. Last year, I did not observe such a love for water in her. She has been living in our house with us for a year. I took her from a dog shelter a year ago. She is now one and a half years old. She is full of strength and energy!

Pine needles hung on a thin web.
By the way, this road was made last year in the forest, which is located on the riverbank. Every spring, the river takes away part of the forest, and trees fall into the river. In my memory, the road was moved at least 50 meters deep into the forest, because the river destroyed the road every year. This spring did not spoil the forest, because the water in the river did not rise high.

The grass in the meadow became tall. Now it has become a little more difficult to walk because the grass prevents you from walking, and blood-sucking flying insects bite. If we walk along this road after the rain, we get wet to the waist.

Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.
