Sans chocolates.
When Little Man started thinking about the smores, he couldn't forget about it. I tried to delay him to say we don't have the grill and he needed to borrow from my aunt. Lol.
Then suddenly, I found him unboxing the stuff we bought for Christmas, looking for the marshmallows. He also found the solution to the "no-barbecue-stick problem", which is to just use forks. So, it was apparent that he won't stand down.
Tonight was s'mores night.
My sister and I earlier planned for a small camping on Christmas Eve in our front yard, but what's a small "dry- run" now, right?
I borrowed the grill from my Aunt and started the fire. Although it was my cousin who really did it. 😁
I bought some chocolates yesterday, but I did not put them out. Really, at this rate, everything we bought for Christmas eve would be finished by this weekend. 🙄
Front Yard Camping?
Yes, sir! The Christmas breeze is here, and the night gets chilly.
We just needed simple fun without the fuzz of going somewhere else. So, the front yard, it is!
The kids still enjoyed. All they needed was the fire, and they're good.
Sunset and Cables
We started at about sundown. Really, the sunset view here at home would have been more photogenic if it weren't for the cables. 😅
Bonus Round. Hotdogs.
After the mashmallows, somebody suggested hotdogs. Ahhm, it think it was my sister. We just really had to make use of the fire we made, that's it. Lol.
So yeah, I took out the hotdogs and grilled them. There's weren't much left, but that's fine. Grilled hotdogs are better that that cooked in a pan. That's what Little Man commented.
I put out the fire when Little Man and Little Miss started chasing each other with burning sticks. Lol.
It was a fun s'mores time. Next time, we have to do this after dinner. The kids lost appetite for dinner after eating those sweets.
But, it was fun. 🥰
