Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. Blood cancer is a disorder in which blood cells uncontrollably start cell division. It has been impacting not only kids but also the old and young population of the world. A slight change in the genetic pattern of DNA can convert a normal blood cell into a mutant cell. These Mutant cells can't carry the normal oxygenation functionality of the blood; hence, people suffer and die. Every year, thousands of people die due to Blood Cancer and still, our world is struggling to seek a solution to it.
Thalassemia and Blood Sickle Cell Anaemia
Thalassemia is not a single disease; it is a disorder that originates when normal hemoglobin is not produced in RBCs. As a result, oxygenation functionality is compromised. It can be in many forms. Each form is dangerous and should be controlled carefully.
Sickle Cell anemia is a genetic blood cancer in which the histology of blood cells is compromised. Blood cells changed into Crescent Shape and they damaged blood vessels as well as organs during their flow.
These both are deadly disorders and indeed, they are affecting a large population. Many people found their solution by replacing blood every month. As we need to permanently resolve the issue of blood cell morphology as well as the issue of normal Haemoglobin, hence their treatment is prolonged and time-consuming.
I love to donate my blood two times a year. Having -A Blood provides me the privilege to provide blood to those kids who can't afford it or can't find a blood bank. After every three months or 120 Days, the recycling of blood cycles happens. New Blood cells are regenerated, and old cells start Apoptosis. Hence, if someone has needed our blood then we should be courageously a donor. It is one of the best human nature when someone donates blood to someone freely. In this way, we can save thousands of patients of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell anemia.
Let us save the world together that is affected by Blood cancer. I hope you have enjoyed my post. Thanks!
