Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Parents are the most precious blessing from God. They not only bring us to this world but also are the reasons for our growth. Their role in shaping our personality is always encouraging and motivational. Kids have a close connection with their parents. This interaction weakens when kids become mature. Although not everyone is equal there are cases reported in which sons and daughters have sued their parents. It is injustice and discouraging but it is happening in this cruel world.

Suing Parents Is Cruelty
Parents are our guardians; they are our immortal support. They raise us from a kid lifestyle to an adult stage. They care and love us with their mercy. When they become old, now there are cases of using them in shelters. It is Cruelty. If someone is helping us in our most difficult time then we should not leave him or her in his or her difficult time. This step is beyond the level of humanity.
Being a Muslim, I'm blessed to learn about the rights of parents. On the day of Judgement, I have fears from the small hurts I have given to my parents. I love them as they love me. Respect and care are my obligations. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an about Parenting.
“And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you do not know, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness...”
~ (Qur’an 31:15)
Yes, Islamic Teaching is clear about Parents. Al Qu'ran has taught me to treat my parents with goodness as they treated me in my childhood. We are not allowed to misbehave them. Whether they are alive or have passed from this world, we have to remember them in our prayers and good words. The concept of a Shelter system or suing them is unethical.
I like to learn about the rights of parents from the Quran and Hadith. Last Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) once have cleared the rights of parents to His companions.
“A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, who is most deserving of my good company?’ The Prophet said: ‘Your mother.’ He asked: ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: ‘Your mother.’ He asked again: ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: ‘Your mother.’ He asked once more: ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: ‘Then your father."
~ (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
Instructions of Islam are clear and open to all its followers. We can't deviate from them. My mother has 3/4th rights on my property and on my all assets and my father has 1/4th. I can't disobey them or think to hurt them in any case.

Final Thoughts
Humanity teaches us to respect and care people who respect and care to us. Then how can we think to sui our well wishers. The most lovely and beautiful creation on this Universe are Parents. The love, care, respect, and dignity all vanished on parents. If our parents are alive, we should respect them instead of shifting them into shelters or suing them. We should not hurt them as if we hurt them, we are indirectly hurting God. We should be their permanent support. We should pray for them and take their love even they are getting old. I'm happy to share my Islamic Views on this beautiful topic. Thank You HL team for bringing this wonderful topic on Hive Blockchain.
