I can still remember vividly the first day of this year when I was writing my thoughts of last year. It feels just like yesterday to be honest. And I can't believe it's already a couple hours to 2025.
I sit here thinking about how the year has been. From January when I decided to try new things, to February which was amazing for so many reasons, to march which came with it's own challenges, but I managed to scale through. April was a roller coaster month, but I kept on the grind, may was a blur, so much euphoria in that month, then came June ready to smack out the enjoyments of the previous months, it was definitely the trough of my year, luckily July came with it's blessings, fast forward to August where I reaped one of the biggest fruits of my decision to try to new things in January. It came at a dire time too. September, October, I started another chapter of learning new things, something I learnt as a coping mechanism during the pains of June became a fun activity to indulge myself in. I learnt a lot about myself in that time. Near misses, regrets, growth, knowledge, it was a mixed bag. In that time I also stumbled upon a new hobby.
November, December, it all become a bit slow. Felt like I wasn't grinding as hard as previous months, just recouping, assimilating, reaping rewards from past efforts, and now here I am looking forward to the new year.
To be honest, I am not sure what exactly to expect from the new year yet. But that is the case every year and somehow I manage to make something of it. I am prepared to make something of this new year that is for sure. I enjoyed the year 2024 for the most past and I intend to build on that this coming year. How I intend to do that though is still a work in progress. I am currently drafting out my plans for the new year and they're not just random pipe dreams, I plan to set goals I can work on through actionable steps.
2025 is going to be a year of more growth, more knowledge, more love, more money, more network, and many more. I can't wait to watch it all unfold.
See you there my friends. Happy new year.
