Hello everyone, hope you're doing great and your family okay. Today I set out on another journey to visit a church which I've heard so much about for years. The name of the church is St. Theresa's catholic church located in Idemili North Local Government area of Anambra State. The appearance of the church is quite unique due to its architectural design, its tower stands high above all other buildings located within the church premises. The tower is clearly made of bricks and it's one of the neatest works I've seen though the building is old now yet it looks clean because of good maintenance. In front of the church tower is the cross in white color. One thing I especially love about the environment is that it’s calm. The fence helped minimize the noise of moving vehicles passing along the road next to the church.
Prayers were ongoing when I entered the environment, there seemed to be a section where some can pray together without entering the main church building. Right in front of their gathering is a table and a chair which has an image on top.
I went close to the main church building and was really thrilled by my findings. Though the main church building is locked, I found out that the doors of the church has different images on them which I found quite intriguing because I'm a good lover of arts and I Know these artworks portray different good stories.
One of the most beautiful things that I love about this church environment is that all the corners of the church where there is no building or structure is well covered with interlock, So while walking within the church premises you don't have to battle with sand slowing your movements or entering into your sandals but there is a portion where the left over sand used in renovation were kept. The church environment also seems to be a good meeting place for children because while I was going from building to building within the big compound, I found out that there were children we gathered together to pray and there were many of them and I respect that.
If you miss noticing how clean the St. Theresa's catholic church premises is, you won't miss noticing the different designs and patterns that were used on each building to make it look so appealing and beautiful to the eyes. So far I love the uniqueness of the church and how it has been maintained. I was able to locate an open building in the church premises where I saw different chairs properly arranged. At the time of my entrance, I met a woman sitting on the front row and she was praying, I avoided making any notice or causing disturbance. One thing I always have in mind when I visit worship centers is that I'm not just only dealing with or interacting with the physical things I see within the environment, I'm also very aware of the spiritual aspect of things. So I always try to not annoy people or vex any spirit.
Lastly before I left three church premises, I discovered the church had another gate, so when I was about to leave, I followed the other gate to observe along the way out. So far the church stood out unique in its design and its well maintained.
