There are a lot of things in this world that we may find difficult to believe in if we don't experience it ourselves.
Many times while reading or chatting with people I hear people make use of the word soul mates but each time I hear about it, it doesn't make any difference to me other than just a love word. I didn't even try to ask more questions about it.
Time has gone by until I found a girl that really pleases my heart. She is a model and a lover of music. In fact I must say she made me fall in love with music more because anytime we're together she will either be playing one romantic song or the other, how I wish it ends there but no she won't let it be so. She will drag me up from my chair if I'm sitting down and close my books if I'm reading then drop it to the side gently.
She has always formed the habit of stretching out her hands towards me and holding my two hands before gently dragging me up to dance with her.
At first when we just got to know each other, I knew she loved music but little did I know that she would lure me deep into her first love which is music. She has been so much in love with music even before we got to know each other. When we found out that our feelings for each other were true was the night we were all alone by ourselves and she turned on the music player in her apartment to a very calm romantic song “All of me” by John legend. I don't know how it happened but it was a magical night for both of us. Her room was dimly lighted when I came in she has been trying to invite me to her apartment but each time she tells me to come visit her, I'll come up with a excuse and tell her I'm busy even when I'm not and that makes her feel unhappy but soon after she called me on a day I myself was feeling lonely and I have nothing to keep myself busy with. All I needed was someone to chat with before her call entered my phone.
At that moment I was really grateful she called, my intention was to invite her to my place at least to just talk but while she was talking and I was listening and chipping in small words to keep our conversation on the phone smooth and flowing. She asked me what I was doing and I told her that I was doing nothing and kinda bored. At that moment she told me to come over, immediately the word left her mouth I told her she should close her eyes and open it that she will see me in her apartment.
I know I needed to hurry and she may have understood what I meant because when I came to her apartment everywhere felt so good as one that is expecting a visitor. The only thing that made my heart tremble was that the only light I could see in her room a colored light which made the room almost dark but at least we could still see each others faces.

She was so happy I came, she hugged me in front of her door and let me in. When I came in standing and observing her room, she motioned me to sit down which I did and she sat down beside me while we were chatting, she restated her head on my chest. After a while she then later turned on the music and dragged me up to dance with her which I did, although if we were on the stage she would have been the center of attraction. When she turned on the song which seemed to have been slowed down the more to suit a quiet moment, I noticed the change. My surprise remained the change of atmosphere which a single song can create. Before I could know it she was all over me and I have no choice but to give in. We made gentle motions which resonates with the song. Looking each other eye ball to eye ball, holding each other and dancing.
Gently in the dim light, it seems there's a force pulling our two heads gently together that non of us could resist. Our two head gradually but continously progressed to almost meeting and we heard a loud shout from the outside. Immediately it was as though I had just waking up from a trance and was somehow scared because of how the person was screaming. I heard some neighbors asking what was going on with lady screaming. Just when we feel it's safe to open the door we went to the neighbors apartment almost immediately and found our that the lady has been stung by a scorpion. We did everything we could do for her till we became sure she safe and okay.
But every since then, I never underestimate the power of music let alone a dimly lighted room.
