I read many articles where people say that they are waiting for an opportunity to purchase Bitcoin. I was then wondering what is the right time to purchase Bitcoin. It can be a hard decision to put our hard earned money on Bitcoin. Especially for people who have no idea about the crypto industry. But at the same time, if they miss the opportunity now, they will anyways regret it after a few years too. That's what has been happening for many people.
There is also one more thing to note here. People who invest in Bitcoin can see the asset value growing but most people don't sell them during the peak market unless they are traders. That's also a good strategy because some people say that they are saving it for their future generation.
It is always time
We don't have to worry too much about the price of the coin unless we are planning to trade BTC. This is what experts are saying. The main reason is because the price keeps appreciating all the time. Usually, there will be confusion in the market and later when the bull market starts the price of BTC will keep going high. Sometimes people might think that 30k is over price of BTC but that's what everyone thought when the price of BTC was 500 dollars. Even then there was a huge demand that has brought the price of BTC to around 70k today. If the intention is to invest and hold for the long term, then price shouldn't matter because if we look at the graph the value is continuously appreciating.
Today investment Tomorrow profit
Today if people are investing, of course, we cannot book the profit tomorrow but by tomorrow I mean the future. People are making investments for their kids to grow up and reap. I remember seeing a video where some Indian grandfather had bought MRF shares and held them for nearly 30 years and today it is giving a huge profit to his grandson. So maybe the investment we make today can give a great profit to the investors in the future that our next generation can reap. It is light planting a tree. It can take a lot of years for the tree to grow but our kids will benefit from the tree once it is grown.
Bitcoin for fighting inflation
People have the thought that real-world inflation is very high and that's one of the primary reasons why people want to invest in Bitcoin. When we compare the coin with real-world inflation, the value of the coin keeps appreciating giving a good outcome in terms of value as the price of Bitcoin appreciates. That's why experts say that it is better to buy Bitcoin or make investments in Bitcoin than any other FIAT-based investment.
Value against FIAT
The value of Bitcoin against FIAT has changed drastically in the last decade. People don't believe in FIAT anymore and the justification they give is that it is manipulated by so much. For people who lose hope in FIAT, cryptocurrencies are the resort and people make huge investments in cryptocurrencies.
