Usually on the 15th of every month when Leo Power Up Day is celebrated, I power up whatever LEO tokens I had earned in the last month. This month I missed the opportunity to power up on the 15th. I realized it only later and by then LPUD was over. Today I thought it was never too late to do good things and wanted to power up all the liquid LEO that I had. I had earned some LEO on my bala-leo account too. I wanted to combine everything and power it up on my bala-leo account itself.
Today I have my LEO staked on both accounts. My primary account is delegating some HP to leo.voter account and that's one of the reasons why I had to continue powering up on this account. For receiving LEO tokens as stake, I get additional APR from leo.voter.
The main reason why I wanted to select this account for powering up was because I already had enough LEO tokens on this account but I had a goal in my mind to reach 15k LEO power here but I stopped powering up on this account. Now that the opportunity is favorable, I wanted to power up on this account. After powering up the LEO tokens, I have delegated them to india-leo account which shares more than 100% curation rewards with the delegators.
india-leo accounts is now following the voting pattern of leo.voter account and rewarding the posts that are curated by leo.voter. Apart from this the account is also curating posts that are manually curated by the community curators. Recently there was an issue where the account was sitting with 100 percent mana for most of the time. Today the issue has been resolved by following leo.voter account and this will make the best utilization of the LEO power on that account. We will be able to see how this has improved the curation APR by next week.
I was wondering to sell some LEO tokens when the price was very good. Then I thought maybe I would keep powering up and when the bull run happens the price of all the altcoins will also look good and that can be the best time to book some profits and keep them as stablecoins. Hopefully, the bull market should happen soon but many experts say that it can take a lot of time for the next bull market to start because the bears look very young right now and can sustain for a longer period.
Leofinance now called as Inleo is one of the communities on Hive that has stayed strong in every market. They also keep innovating and continue to bring a lot of new features and improvements to Hive but hopefully, there should be a great demand. Otherwise, it can be hard to keep going like this. For me, the strategy on Hive is to have some decent holdings of Hive, HBD, and a few Hive Engine coins too. But when it comes to Hive Engine coins, LEO is definitely on the top because I have been holding a lot of LEO for a very long time.
