I saw the light.

I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.

There's so much I have seen while growing up. Things that just get one shaking without being cold. Most of us have been through a lot. Things that words can't express no matter how hard we try. We've gone through a series of events, and they just don't seem to want to end. It is like they are a glue stapled on us, but the truth is that they are not. The truth is that when a lot of bad things happen to you, they leave their burning trail in your heart and mind.

It doesn't matter if those things don't happen anymore because in our eyes, they still happen. Any sort of flash on us becomes a trigger that gets our anxiety level high. We shake and sink in fear of the past, the trauma felt. But the truth is that things won't be that way forever. You are not broken. You are just bent, and with love and time, you can learn to love again.

I have seen and felt the glimmer of the light on me with music as my guide. We all have ways we calm our demons, and to me, music and nature do the job to perfection. With them, I can hear my voice loud and clear and also let out my grief.

With music, I can call on myself with just a hello while I stare at the mirror with a shy smile. Just because I saw the light, I know deep down that time heals, and as each time passes by, I see myself cracking my protective shell a little bit, and that's progress. Therefore, I decided to bring some music from Todd Harry to feel my mind with bliss.

But before that, let's get to know him.

Todd Harry.
I call him unusual because...well, have you seen how he dresses to his shows sometimes? It is pretty cute.

Todd Harry Rundgren is an American musician, singer, sound engineer, songwriter, and record producer.

He is a pop rockstar, R&B, and deals with lots more. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. on June 22, 1948. He is a legend, and I do fancy his songs. They not just inspire me, but his lyrics are a beauty to see.

Now, to his songs.

Hello, It's me; Todd Rundgren.

You know yourself better and know what's right for you. Calm your racing heart and listen to your breath. Encourage yourself and maybe write a letter to you. You can go old school and find an old rusty book to write on.

I can't wait to do that myself. The smell, the pleasure, only I know.

Have fun listening in and spread your arms wide like you are a bird.

I saw the light; Todd Rundgren.

I saw the light in your(my) eyes as I stared at the mirror. I knew when I saw it. The pains, regret, victories, love, and saw the progress.

Rock your body left and right. Then roll your waist as you dance with a huge smile on your face.

Time heals; Todd Rundgren.

Time heals, and it is true. Life is filled with unexpected events, and we never know the one that will make our hearts beat in gladness.

Therefore, dance your way around like you lived in the 70s and 80s. Shake your boots and have fun.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
