Preach; but I can't just preach.

I have seen and heard how sweet the tongue can be when people speak. With their mouths moving, speaking of the things they'll do and the promises to be kept, but in the end, they all fail to fulfil them.

That's why a wise man never makes promises unless he sees the future of it being fulfilled. Only a fool waggle his tongue around speaking of this and that and ends up fleeing when it is time to act.

History has taught us a lot, and now, experience is teaching us better. Always preach what you practice. I can't speak on bravery and courage when I can barely stand up to speak in a room filled with a high caliber of people because I deem myself smaller in status.

This is why we ought to be careful in whatever we say to people because words said can never be forgotten by the receiver especially if the word holds something valuable like; peace, love and wealth to the receiver. Sending such a message and doing the opposite shows how cowardly we are.

If your words can't preach and already act what has been preached about, then it is better you keep mute than giving still-born hope to people.

John legend says preach, though deep in his heart, he knows he can't preach when all he sees his pain. Micheal Jackson urges us to heal the world because it is filled with so much pain, hatred, and war. Then, the music by Angelique Kidjo used in the lion, King, reminds us that we are one.

Whenever I find myself listening to this songs,I can always feel the emotions of the musician because our world is not perfect and filled with so many vile creatures in human form. Whenever I get inspired and want to speak to a friend to assure them things will get better, I just can't preach it. I can't preach it because I can feel their pain. I can't assure someone they'll get something when I am not the one giving it. I can only listen and sympathize with them.

Life is filled with shattered hope and great loss. Being the source of inspiration is nice. You'll get to make the listeners feel less burden, but when faced with reality, the guilt will tear you up when they come crashing down again. Therefore, always speak on what you can command not on something that needs the presence of someone higher.

Also, I hope listening to this song brings you some sort of comfort or closure. I do hope you are inspired and get on your feet knowing things can go your way, and if it doesn't, then you get to be experienced.

Heal the world; Micheal Jackson.

You are right. It can be difficult to preach what you're unsure of, it is like intentionally giving someone false hope. You might end up feeling guilty about it.

But sometimes people wants to hear it to feel better, they know it may never happen but they still want to hear it, you know, something to hope on.

Happy Sunday, Balikis ❤️

I understand from your point of view, but don't forget that this is humans we are talking about. When things go sideways when you give them hope all the time, the blaming game will come up.

Happy Sunday, and thanks for stopping by.
