"Cloudy in Lhokseumawe: A Journey That Changed Direction"

in #hive-16377219 days ago

Today, a friend and I decided to go to the beach in Lhokseumawe city. The trip started with sunny weather accompanying our steps, however, the weather turned cloudy as we got closer to our destination. We chose to take the bypass road, avoiding the crowds of vehicles on the national road which are usually full of motorbikes and cars.

On the way, we were surprised by the stunning natural scenery beside the road. The cool air from the mountains felt calming, and we decided to stop for a moment, taking advantage of the moment by photographing the natural beauty presented before us. I even took a selfie, capturing the moment with a beautiful scenic backdrop. My friend was also busy taking photos, and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to capture this moment through my camera lens.

Well, and this is a photo of my friend who is busy photographing natural scenery

and this is me taking a selfie😂

After enjoying the view, we continued our journey and arrived in Lhoksukon. Here, we were greeted by a crowd in front of the regent's office. It turned out that there was a campaign event for the regent candidates taking place, complete with large stages. We stopped for a moment to watch the event. Even though it started to rain, our spirits did not diminish. Plans to go to the beach were postponed, but we still enjoyed the moment at this campaign event.

The majestic regent's office building was the perfect backdrop for some of the photos I took. The atmosphere around the event was also no less interesting, with many people gathered, even though the weather was starting to become unfriendly.

Even though our initial plans to enjoy the beach had to be postponed, the experience we had during this trip was no less interesting. We started the day with high enthusiasm, hoping to enjoy the tranquil beach atmosphere, but nature had other plans. The cloudy weather that came suddenly added a dramatic impression to our trip, especially when we crossed the quiet and calming road. The view of the mountains stretching out wide next to the road gave us an extraordinary sensation of serenity, as if inviting us to forget the hustle and bustle of city life for a moment.

When we finally arrived in Lhoksukon, we found ourselves in the middle of an unexpected campaign event. The magnificent regent's office building stood firmly, giving the impression of grandeur amidst the rain that was starting to fall. The sounds from the stage, laughter, and conversations of people around added color to the atmosphere that afternoon. We decided to stop our trip to the beach and enjoy the moment here.

and this is the atmosphere at this campaign event

and there are already lots of people

This trip takes more than two hours from where I live, but every moment spent feels so precious. Even though our initial plan to enjoy the beach did not come true, the experience we had in Lhoksukon, with all its beauty and atmosphere, became an unforgettable memory.

Hopefully this travel story can provide a clear picture of my experiences today, and perhaps be an inspiration for those who want to explore the beauty around Lhokseumawe.
