I didn't intend to post 2 times a day but I don't think it's such a bad day? because my cousin called yesterday afternoon to remind me that my nephew was getting christened this wednesday XD I am a forgetful aunt and this kid is the first child born from our generation so we really made it a point to celebrate both his christening and his birthday altogether XD so yes, there are now 2 September babies in the family.
I told my cousin I would just catch up to the reception when I clock out at 3, and so I did. Lucky my other cousin came to pick me up from the lab so I got to the venue just in time.

So here is me and a few relatives. I wanted to show my grandma and a few other neighborhood grandmas that have helped raise me and are now helping to raise my nephew because my generation are all working people XD this economy will not allow you to be a stay at home mom, I swear.
Then me cousin being my cousin... went a little extra on this one because he got his own ice cream cart and his own French fries stand.
Not to mention... he got us our own mini bar with a bartender and all XD we basically spent most of the afternoon at the venue. I had to go back to the dorm by 6 though so by 5:30 I excused myself, gave my gift and we'll wishes to my nephew and my cousin then I stopped by the mall to sober up XD
I ended up hanging by a pet shop called bio research and I remember back when I was a child until maybe highschol? There used to be a huge ass bio research near where I lived. Just walking around would take you about 2 hours just to cover it and if you decided to feed the animals there, you might as well spend your entire day there because of how many animals were in there. Now they've greatly reduced to a 2-storey store in the corner of a mall and I kind of feel bad for the animals' current living conditions now as compared to before where they were almost regarded as pets by the store itself but now you know they're animals for sale now.
I felt bad but I did spend a good 30 minutes in there because I tried feeding the hamsters and fish.
After that, I went strolling insithe mall near work. I was actually thinking of what I should eat for lunch the next day since my dinner was already taken care of XD
The fun part of this stroll was that I found a really fun and colorful local exhibit that showcased crafts and delicacies from some regions in the country. What I took note of was Nueva vizcaya, batanes, quirino, Zamboanga and a few other provinces that I forgot because I haven't visited those places yet XD a I was still buzzed from all the cocktails I had.
I did spend a good hour here, (impulsively) bought a few snack and I only went back to the lab dorm when the dorm mother called me so they had the company driver come fetch me from the mall XD
All in all, that was a fun drunken wednesday. It's Thursday evening now and I think I've recovered enough from y hangover to be writing this XD
