Monday morning was not the easiest for me in terms of my health and therefore turning to God in prayer today I ask for the restoration of health and for a blessing on this post I wrote because what is the point of my reasoning if they are not blessed by God!
Reflecting on the topic of the post I remembered how my wife, when boiling water to make soup showed me a thick layer of limescale deposits on the bottom of the pan a dry residue that forms when boiling water if the water is not clean enough.
Recently the quality of water has deteriorated greatly and something flows from the water supply that if you want to sell this liquid in bottled form you will definitely not be able to certify it, since you will not be able to indicate the exact amount of dry residue on the label it is constantly changing in the upward direction.
But, not always dry residue is something bad for example we all use salt in cooking and this salt is nothing more than a dry residue that is useful for us.
Although, regarding the usefulness of salt, there are many disputes someone says that salt is white death and someone says that salt is necessary for life.
Animals do not have such questions they eat salt with pleasure and for many of them, for example for cattle salt is vital.
In the fifth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, verse 13 begins with the fact that the Lord calls us believers in the Lord, the salt of the earth.
Dry residue and it a priori cannot be greater in volume than the liquid from which this dry residue was obtained.
After the phrase that we, believers of Jesus Christ, are the salt of the earth it is said that salt can spoil become something useless when we forget about God begin to rely only on our own strength, and this happened and happens today, I notice it in myself.
Sometimes it is difficult to understand the benefit of the dry residue for example looking at the caps or the stalks of acorns that have lost their fruit and now their usefulness is in great question if you do not know that God has provided for everything and they will become part of the fertile soil under the oak from which they fell to the ground.
You can get a dry residue from a liquid in two ways by boiling and by freezing.
God had to boil and cool me many times before I became like at least some kind of dry residue, which learns to trust in God in everything.
Mushrooms and most meat and plant products even milk if you have ever collected them, spoil very quickly in fresh form if you have not used heat treatment and have not cooked them in dishes.
But if you freeze-dry them then such mushrooms having lost all moisture will be stored for many years and will not spoil will be suitable for consumption.
Reflecting on all this I am happy that my children from an early age know the mercy of God to them and they do not have to fight with heat and cold to become a dry residue firm in their faith in our Lord.
