Morning with Prayer: Day Twenty. God's Covering.
Thank God for this frosty morning, for the fact that I could feel the frost nipping at my nose!
I thank God for breathing in today when I woke up for the fact that I could cough, for the pain in my side when I turned awkwardly... yes this is also something for which we should Thank the Almighty God because all this, we could never do and never feel.
As an experienced asthmatic I know well the value of breathing in clean air after my encounter with some allergen, when the moment comes close to saying goodbye to life because I do not know whether I will be able to take the next breath or not.
Perhaps God gives us some trials so that we feel the value of His grace His protection and His covering.
I have had quite a few cases when being a financially prosperous person I simply forgot to give praise to God all the well-being was taken for granted, but this takes us far from God and His protection.
I have had many cases when, being a financially prosperous person I simply forgot to give praise to God, all the well-being was taken for granted, but this takes us far from God and His protection. Probably someone who cannot afford warmth and comfort for some reason will feel God's presence much more strongly at the moment when he is warm regardless of how cold it is outside and someone from whom well-being in some way was not taken away will understand the need to seek God only when he begins to experience difficulties in something.
In the Gospel of Matthew 18:2-18:3 you can read about the path to the kingdom of God that Jesus Christ spoke about namely we need to be like children.
We are not talking about children's pranks or about children's ignorance, no, we are talking about the fact that children rely on their parents in everything, they know that all the benefits come only from their parents and therefore they thank their parents for everything.
Although children's pranks are something that God covers when we have a pure heart full of repentance I have been through this I know this and I really like to play pranks.
For some pranks children have to ask their parents for forgiveness but they know that they will be forgiven.
So as parents are a cover for their children so God is a cover for everyone who calls on him regardless of how a person treated God a second ago.

If someone convinces you that your sins are a one-way street and you should feel like a child who was kicked out of the house by his parents because he broke a jar of jam, then do not believe them remember that Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary covered all your sins with his holy blood and is waiting for you to open your heart to Him!
