Hearty greetings and happy new year everyone
I am so so excited. In fact, the happiness has been building up since Christmas and finally I get to unleash the "happy dam" in me as I screamed happy new year into the night. While it might look or even feel like an ordinary day, to me it is not just that. I believe the calendar on your phones will tell you so.
A new calendar year does not just mean a change of date or numbers rather a new year is symbolic for a new beginning, a fresh start, a new slate, a new drive and a new fire to do more. It is the time to do over what we were not able to do in the previous year.
For this new year, my optimistic side is alive and kicking and I can already see the year taking shape with all that I have in mind or should I say "on my vision board". I am so elated that I can't wait to start rolling things into motion but there's no rush. I will take my time and enjoy this first day, basking in the euphoria of crossing over into a new year.
2025 comes with a lot of possibilities and new horizons just waiting to be tapped and that is just what I am going to take advantage of. It's going to be "out with the old and in with the new". It is said that...
"Only a mad person does the same thing consistently while expecting different results".
I don't want to be in that zone, a zone where I keep recycling the same things and steps while thinking that I'll get a different result. I want to break free from my comfort zone. I want to try out something new, something that I have never ventured in before. I want to break into a new threshold and conquer new grounds. This is what I hope to achieve in 2025.
Before 2025 will come to a close, I want to look back and smile knowing that like "Mungo Park", I discovered a new route, a new trail to greatness. I want to hold my head high and say "Yes, I did this".
There will also be a lot of dumping in 2025. Dumping of every dead weight that I struggled with in 2024. I don't want to go on with any such dead weight in whatever form it may be. It could in my relationships, partnerships, social circle, job e.t.c. No more dead weight, I'm dumping them here and now.
As I unload the dead weights, I would also cultivate my good relationships and even form more bonds. I cannot expantiate enough how invaluable good relationships are to a person. In this world, there are certain things that cannot be gotten and certain places one cannot enter except one has good connections and backing. This year 2025, I will cherish my relationships and still grow my circle to accommodate good people whom I would encounter this year.
Like I said, I am so stoked to have crossed over into a new calendar year and my vision board is bright and sharp, waiting for me to start the journey of achievement. I earnestly desire that I won't be the only one achieving this new year but I will read about the achievements and success stories of everyone with a dream.
