So yesterday, I got my hands on a copy of the most recent addition to the Spiderman gaming franchise and I've got to say, it's lived up to my expectation. It's a seamless amalgamation of the two previous titles.
There's a quick recap at the beginning of the game for anyone who hasn't played the two previous titles. However, if you have played the two previous titles being the amazing spiderman and Spiderman: Miles Morales, then you can skip the intro recap because you already know what's in it.
Following from my previous paragraph, what instantly stood out from the beginning is the continuity in the storyline. We were first introduced to Peter, then Miles and right at the end of Miles Morales Spiderman, Peter got into the scene, setting the tone for two spidermans(spidermen?)
Now I'm still at the early stages of the game and so, I've not seen too much of it. However, its nice to see that they kept most of the old stuff we've grown to love in the game and then added a few extras like the glider to their suits, some fun new outfits and the fact that you can switch between either Spiderman(Spidersman?)
The main villain hasn't been announced yet but I reckon it'll be someone badass. Also, the fact that Harry was brought back into the mix with something that looks like Venom indicates that there's either a spinoff or he may be the villain.
