Macro wonders in the wild tree | MONOMAD Challenge
Hello to all the Hive community, especially the Black and White friends! I hope you are having a beautiful day!
A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a few days away from social media. I realised that I was too busy taking pictures, commenting, sharing, so my presence has been almost null in general.
Today I have good news, I'm back on Hive! I have spent my first period as an inactive user, which was very difficult for me, because since February 6, 2022, I have been posting almost daily.
This time I'm coming back to the Black and White community to share some recently captured images. With them I will participate in the #monomad challenge of the day.

Maravillas macro en el árbol salvaje | MONOMAD Challenge
Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive, en especial a los amigos de Black and White! Espero que estén pasando un día hermoso!
Hace un par de semanas decidí tomarme unos días alejada de las redes sociales. Me di cuenta que estaba demasiado pendiente de tomar fotos, comentar, compartir, así que mi presencia ha sido casi nula en general.
Hoy tengo buenas noticias, y es que regreso a Hive! He pasado mi primer period como usuaria inactiva, lo cual para mi fue muy difícil, ya que desde el 6 de febrero de 2022, he publicado prácticamente con una frecuencia diaria.
En este regreso me acerco por la comunidad de Black and White, para compartir unas imágenes capturadas recientemente. Con ellas participaré del #monomad challenge del día.
Este árbol tenía una corteza erosionada c¡por el viento y por el sol, y a la cual los años le habían dejado las marcas de los eventos a los que habrá estado expuesto este ejemplar.
matices de marrón con gris se disponían de manera lineal como si alguien hubiera intentado tomar una muestra.
Anillos definidos reposaban sobre las ramas, y partes amputadas presentaban los resquicios de lo que alguna vez había sido aquel árbol.
La tierra, su energía, los movimientos de los astros a su alrededor y el mar frente a él, crearon una forma particular en su tronco, que al crecer no hizo más que escuchar a su interior en lugar de seguir un palito para ser un árbol derecho como tantos otros.
I took these images on a walk along the east coast of Ibiza. I happened to be looking at the sea when I stopped in front of this tree whose bark was directly a universe exposed and open to analysis.
With these macro images, I have added 3 others with a normal zoom. One shows the target tree, the others show a laurel tree which was almost ten metres away from the tree I was photographing at first.
The bark struck me, and I stopped on it really because I was looking for the sea in the distance, through the branches, but at one point I asked myself: what am I looking for? If in front of me there is a masterpiece.
This tree had a bark eroded by the wind and the sun, and to which the years had left the marks of the events to which this specimen must have been exposed.
Shades of brown with grey were arranged in a linear fashion as if someone had tried to take a sample.
Defined rings rested on the branches, and amputated parts showed the chinks of what the tree had once been.
The earth, its energy, the movements of the stars around it and the sea in front of it, created a particular shape in its trunk, which as it grew did nothing but listen to its inner self instead of following a stick to be a straight tree like so many others.
A beauty, a wild tree, a tree that today is a source of shade and amazement.
He tomado estas imágenes en una caminata bordeando la costa este de Ibiza. Resulta que miraba el mar cuando me detuve frente a este árbol cuya corteza era directamente un universo expuesto y abierto a análisis.
Con estas imágenes macro, he agregado otras 3 cuyo zoom es normal. Una muestra al árbol objetivo, y las otras, a un laurel que se hallaba a casi diez metros de distancia del árbol al que estuve fotografiando en un primer momento.
La corteza me impactó, y me detuve en ella en verdad porque buscaba encontrar al mar, a lo lejos, por entre las ramas, pero en un momento me pregunté: ¿qué estoy buscando? Si frente a mí hay una obra maestra.
Una belleza, un árbol salvaje, un árbol que hoy es fuente de sombra y asombro.
The ants wandered over it, some isolated and others probably gathered around a pinch of food. They made me wonder how far the ‘macro’ goes, because I had been in connection with this tree when I got into its details, but the ants reminded me that there is still more.
Strangely shaped green leaves, pointed, radiant, accompanied the margins of this tree, making a scene of survival and resilience characteristic of nature.
In the distance, people lived, most of them surely indifferent to the tiny ecosystem this tree was creating in and around it.
Las hormigas paseaban sobre él, algunas aisladas y otras reunidas seguramente alrededor de una pizca de alimento. Estas, me hicieron preguntarme hasta donde llega lo “macro”, pues yo había quedado en conexión con este árbol al adentrarme en sus detalles, pero las hormigas me recordaron que aún hay más.
Hojas verdes de forma extraña, puntiaguda, radiante, acompañaban los márgenes de este árbol, haciendo entre todo el conjunto, una escena de supervivencia y resiliencia característica de la naturaleza
A lo lejos, la gente vivía, la mayoría por seguro indiferente al ínfimo ecosistema que este árbol estaba creando en y alrededor de él.
