Hello Hello people of @Lifestyle I hope you are well and that you had a good weekend, I come here to tell you about my adventures hehe 😄 and on Saturday I was with my family celebrating the birthday of one of my cousins and it really was a very fun party, there were not too many guests, just very close friends of her and her husband and obviously the family. She herself was in charge of decorating the house, as well as baking her own cake and the desserts that were served at the party, because my cousin is a pastry chef and has a pastry shop, in fact I am also a pastry chef and I remember the time in which we worked together in her pastry shop, it was a good time and we really had a great time, we were a great team, and we complemented each other's recipes very well.
Hola Hola gente de @Lifestyle espero que estén bien y que hayan pasado un buen fin de semana, yo aquí vengo a contarle mis aventuras del mío jeje 😄 y es que el sábado estuve con mi familia celebrando el cumpleaños de una de mis primas y realmente fue una fiesta muy divertida, no fueron demasiados invitados, solo amigos muy íntimos de ella y su esposo y obviamente la familia. Ella misma se encargó de la decoración de la casa, así como también se encargó de hornear su propia torta y los postres que sirvieron en la fiesta, debido a que mi prima es pastelera y tiene una pastelería, de hecho yo también soy pastelera y recuerdo la época en la que trabajamos juntas en su pastelería, fue una buena época y realmente la pasamos muy bien, hacíamos un gran equipo, además de que complementábamos muy bien nuestras recetas.
I loved the party because it is one of those few moments in which we can all socialize, meet up with old friends and family whom we haven't seen in a while and tell anecdotes to laugh for a while, these are things that we can't do as often as we would like because of our respective jobs and responsibilities. The cake moment (when we sang the birthday song) was very fun because there is never a lack of someone adding more to the original lyrics of the song, but there came a point where I did get angry when someone pulled out of nowhere a thing that shot foam, someone who wanted to be funny, fortunately I was able to escape in time for my hair or makeup to be ruined, but a little of that foam got into one of my ears and it was unpleasant. I honestly think there are better ways to have fun without bothering anyone.
Me encantó la fiesta porque es de esos pocos momentos en los que podemos socializar todos, reencontrarnos con viejos amigos y familiares a los que no ves desde hace tiempo y contar anécdotas para reírnos un rato, son cosas que no podemos hacer tan seguido como quisiéramos por causa de nuestros respectivos trabajos y responsabilidades. El momento de la torta (cuando cantamos la canción del cumpleaños) fue muy divertido porque nunca falta quien le añada más a la letra original de la canción, pero llegó un punto en el que sí me enojé cuando alguien sacó de la nada una cosa que disparaba espuma, alguien que se quiso hacer el gracioso, afortunadamente pude huir a tiempo de que me arruinaran el peinado o el maquillaje, pero un poco de esa espuma se metió en uno de mis oídos y fue desagradable. Honestamente pienso que hay mejores formas de divertirse sin molestar a nadie.
But definitely the most fun moment of the night was karaoke, since my cousin's husband took out a microphone, connected a monitor to the speaker and in a few minutes we had access to a good karaoke session. I love to sing and I especially love Selena Quintanilla's songs, so I sang several. People were very excited, but the height of the fun was when I sang "Juana La Cubana" because my cousins came out to dance imitating the complicated choreography of the Las Chicas del Can orchestra 😄. It was an epic moment because many even cried from laughter 🤣. Seriously, it was one of those moments that give you thousands of years of life, that make you forget about the stress of the week and the responsibilities of daily work.
Pero definitivamente el momento más divertido de la noche fue el del karaoke, ya que el esposo de mi prima sacó un micrófono, conectó un monitor al speaker y en pocos minutos tuvimos acceso a una buena sesión de karaoke. Yo amo cantar y amo en especial las canciones de Selena Quintanilla, así que canté varias. La gente estaba muy animada, pero el momento álgido de la diversión fue cuando canté "Juana La Cubana" porque mis primas salieron a bailar imitando la complicada coreografía de la orquesta Las Chicas del Can 😄, fue un momento épico porque muchos hasta lloraron de la risa 🤣. De verdad, fue de esos momentos que te dan miles de años de vida, que te hacen olvidar del estrés de la semana y de las responsabilidades del trabajo diario.
