Hellooooo, TBT Thursday is here! This is very exciting, today I am going to show you a nice walk that we had a few years ago, my mother, my sister, our cousin (who is like our brother) and my sister's best friend (who also loves her like a sister ) together we went to visit the capital of our country, Caracas, it is a shame that I do not have photographs of our visit to the birthplace of Simón Bolívar (the liberator) but we have some others from that day, like this one, where we are with General Juan Vicente Gómez, he was a dictator who ruled the country since 1907, if I remember correctly. We were very surprised by the actor's resemblance to the real one.
Holaaaa, ¡Ya llegó el jueves de TBT! Esto es muy emocionante, hoy les voy a mostrar un lindo paseo que tuvimos hace unos años, mi mamá, mi hermana, nuestro primo (que es como nuestro hermano) y la mejor amiga de mi hermana (que también la queremos como a una hermana) todos juntos nos fuimos a visitar la capital de nuestro país, Caracas, es una lástima que yo no tenga fotografías de nuestra visita a la casa natal de Simón Bolívar (el libertador) pero conservamos algunas otras de ese día, como esta, donde estamos con el General Juan Vicente Gómez, fue un dictador que gobernó al país desde 1907, si mal no recuerdo. Nos sorprendió mucho el parecido del actor con el verdadero.
Here we were in Los Caobos park, in front of the National Museum of Sciences, we stopped to rest a little because we were tired of touring the city, we almost did not take public transportation except the metro to get to Los Caobos, since we wanted to explore the entire town history and know it thoroughly.
Aquí estábamos en el parque Los Caobos, frente al museo Nacional de Ciencias, nos detuvimos a descansar un poco porque estábamos cansados de recorrer la ciudad, casi no tomamos transporte público salvo el metro para llegar a Los Caobos, ya que queríamos recorrer todo el casco histórico y conocerlo a fondo.
This is the Federal Legislative Palace, better known as the National Assembly, it is the place where the nation's laws are written, and it is one of the most beautiful buildings that Caracas has, I loved its golden dome where the national flag flies and its elegant Neoclassical style, the Doric columns give it a lot of style but even that is overshadowed by the beauty of the nymphs flanking the entrance.
Este es el Palacio Federal Legislativo, mejor conocido como la Asamblea Nacional, es el lugar donde se redactan las leyes de la nación, y es uno de los edificios más bonitos que tiene Caracas, es de estilo neoclásico, amé su cúpula dorada donde hondea la bandera nacional, las columnas dóricas le dan mucho estilo pero hasta eso se queda opacado ante la belleza de las ninfas flanquean la entrada.
And to end the day I couldn't leave without supporting the artisans, I love their work, I value what they do, so I didn't leave without buying some things as souvenirs, especially a pretty necklace that I loved.
Y para terminar el día no podía irme sin apoyar a los artesanos, amo su trabajo, valoro lo que hacen, así que no me fui sin comprar algunas cosas como souvenir, en especial un lindo collar que me encantó.
