Hello Splinterland players, how are you? I hope your this week and season are going well for you. This season has just started and this time I am playing in Modern. This time I have not bought the season pass for Wild. So my effort will be to achieve as much ranking as possible in Wild. I feel that Modern Battles is much more difficult than Wild because all the players here are original and there were a lot of bot accounts in Wild, so maybe it was a little easier there, yes, it was not that easy, but there I could easily reach Diamond, but here it is becoming very difficult for me to even cross Silver, but I am learning a lot and I hope that I will start performing better in a few seasons because when I first started playing, I did not understand this game that much, but gradually I started understanding it and I am performing quite well here and my endeavour is still that I will learn as much as possible from here and then perform well here, let's see what happens next.
If you have not yet joined the Sprinter Lines Weekly Season, you can do it now, there are many days left for it to end, so here is the link to how you can join. Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! People come here with very interesting topics and share their thoughts, some posts are very interesting and it is a lot of fun to see them and you also get to learn a lot, today I am sharing one of my battles which is a low mana battle and you might learn something from it if you ever get a chance to play with such a rule set or any such card, then maybe this can be a little helpful for you.
Well, in low mana battles, we have very few options because summoners take a separate space and monsters need a separate space, so you have to choose your cards very carefully because you have very little space and in such a situation you have to use your best cards and some cards are very good in which you can change the direction of the whole battle with just one card, but sometimes we have to use more cards so that we can increase our opportunity to win the battle. Well, I mostly use magic cards in battles, but this time I changed my strategy a little and it benefited me a lot. I feel that the rule set in the battle I was playing was also a little different in that I could only use neutral cards and in such a situation the mana cup was only 13, so if you are used to this game then you can choose the card quickly and you know which cards work in such low mana battles.

Shades of Gray | Only Neutral Units may be used in battles. |
But I don't consider myself a very good player, so it takes me some time to choose the cards and understand whether it will work or not after studying it. I have to change it many times, but some people are very fast in these things and they choose their cards very quickly and end the battle immediately because they already know the result of their battle and most of the time they are very accurate and they know that they will win this battle. But this is not the case with me. I am still struggling at 1300 ranking here. Yes, sometimes I want to play a little battle and then I lose the bottles again and I am back to square one. I am playing continuously and I hope that the time I am spending here in playing battles will benefit me and I will get a chance to try this new strategy.
This time I have used Tarsa
summoner, I am not really a big fan of fire cards but time I don't have that much choice left. I was not able to use dragon and death elements. As you can see my opponent have used almost same cards and lucky not cards were same. If all the card were same that is going to be a different case for sure. I have used :
- Xenith Monk
- Uraeus
- Xenith Archer
I used only three cards in the battle, but opponent did have four cards Still, I did manage to win the battle because of the position of my cards I was not sure that the opponent will came up with the same set of cards But luckily, I have used a card with decent health in the last line. That's why I was able to survive the battle.
As you can see in the round two, I was able to eliminate one last card of the opponent. And luckily, they'd try to eliminate my cards But due to a decent health, I was able to survive for round one. But by the end of round 2 I was not able to maintain it and I lost one of my card on the last line up. I lost Xenith Archer
in the round 2 but I was able to stick in the battle.
As you can see I was able to eliminate the first of the opponent which was Xenith Monk
. After the first card was gone then it was a easy with for me and by the round 6 I was able to win the battle very easily. So, if you want to win a low mana cap battle always try to use higher health and more speed cards. If you are able to use then you should try to use heal ability cards that is going to make a lot of difference in the battle.
So, the man of the match of the battle is none other than Xenith Monk
and that is pretty obvious, don't you think?
