Will Who Wins The Presidential Election Matter For Crypto?

Things are heating up for sure and while I for the most part stay out of it all because to me it doesn't really matter who wins because there are bigger players behind them pulling all the strings and I honestly want less and less government oversight not more politics in general I dislike everything about them as no one that runs ever gives anything back to its people and instead just takes a little something more every time.

That being said I think it's still interesting to dive in and see what might happen if Trump wins or if Harris wins. Does it really even matter in the grand scheme of things? Or will crypto continue to push forward.

Stocks

We can already get a feel for this by taking point of the S&P 500 or DOW and see what president was running and how the markets performed. It might not be shocking to you that it legit doesn't matter and markets simply continue to move up over the long term no matter who is in office.

So then we go into the part of where there are more people behind the president actully pulling the strings. Something we can see ourselves is the House and Congress.

These are the people that actully come up with and create and pass laws that shape things.

But there's also short term to look at as many people operate in the short term. Normally markets try and price in things ahead of time. For example when ETFs were approved for bitcoin and Ethereum we actully saw their prices fall at first this is because the price action already happened before hand.

At the moment it seems like the crypto and stock market are pricing in a Trump win. With that being said it kind of shapes the short term for us in a way. If Trump wins markets should only mildly sell off the news or mildly rally. However if Harris wins I'm leaning towards a more aggressive sell off and no rally. Now again this is the short terms you're talking a few days after the new breaks of who won.

With a trump win assets like crypto and gold should go up as a hedge against a very real possible inflation kick again which might very well show up once again.

Overall in any case it does seem like bitcoin will rally either way by end of year pushing new ATH (All Time Highs) However if Trump where to win being that he's been so pro crypto we most likely would see a more bullish case happening with a larger and longer running rally.

Congress

Congress is the bread and butter of what gets passed and what ultimately goes from rumor to real action. It's often overlooked but a divided congress is one in which mostly gets things passed with a solid uptick in stocks. But close behind that would be a republican congress mostly also doesn't fall too short of that. However a democratic congress has throughout history shown to be a great under performer.

Overall

The other part I'd like to include in here is the alt coin season which everyone has been hoping for. Personally I honestly don't see a altcoin season really taking off unless Trump gets elected in. That's because of his pro stance towards cryptocurrency would allow more open trading and less to just be pumped into ETFs of Bitcoin and Ethereum. While I feel both would continue to be pumped it would open up altcoins a little more to start interacting and trading more then the current oppressively style that's been happening against them for the last four years.

Certainly we are tired of false politics wanting to get into everything, I say this because true politics is the one that watches over and helps in good faith the affairs of the people, not the one that favors a few, while the majority always suffers. Forgive me if I am wrong in my approach.
