I read an article that dealt on the theory of neuroplasticity. In simple terms, neuroplasticity is the ability of the neurons to stretch and form new synapses from connections or stimuli. This also means that the brain is constantly adapting to the information it picks up and grows with its environment.
It is believed that Einstein’s brain was twice the size of a human’s and that is because he retained more information than your average Joe. Looking at the brain and then comparing it to the mind, I can only see one difference: One is tangible and the driver of the body, while the other is intangible and the field where thoughts flourish.
See, when we talk about the mind’s power, I can only say it is limitless. There is no quantifiable or accurate sum when it comes to the power the mind holds. Many of the big names we know today all started the battle of success from their minds. Yes, they had external forces too but they would not have climbed to the top without first conquering who they are inside.
The mind has the ability to become what you feed it. The mind thrives on the energy inside you. We act based on what we see around us, that much is true, but what about what we can’t see? I move with my instinct. I can sniff out bullshit and this is because I have built enough experiences in my lifetime to be able to tell them from a mile away.
Just like the brain is the pilot of the entire nervous system, the mind is the pilot of hopes and dreams. What we believe is possible there, becomes possible everywhere. Experience has taught me that we can only accomplish what we set our minds to do. It is delusional to think we can get what we haven’t worked for.
Which is funny because I see some people getting what they haven’t worked for. But then I ask myself if they truly haven’t worked for it. The mind works in mysterious ways. So does the human that owns it. People don’t just make it to the top overnight and people who do are always questionable in my opinion. I have read the stories of the likes of Ford, Walter Disney, Oprah Winfrey. Their battles from what they had to face translated to internal war, and they made a name for themselves because they defeated that negative part of their mind that never believed they could do it. And this I believe is the greatest war of all. The war within man.
