Happy Sunday Hive Power community! I was initially thinking about serializing these #HPUD posts but since this is my first post dedicated to this community I want to start it as an introduction, that is, how I decided to participate in this initiative, since this is the year I have made the decision to participate in this event. I will try to be brief so let's get started!

Estaba pensando inicialmente si serializar estas publicaciones de los #HPUD pero dado que este es mi primer post dedicado a esta comunidad quiero empezarlo a manera de introducción, es decir como decidí a participar en esta iniciativa, ya que este es el año en el que he tomado la decisión de participar en este evento. Trataré de ser breve así que comencemos!
My first steps in Hive were through the Splinterlands project at the end of 2020 just at the doors of the NFT boom and I must say that I really loved this game from the first moment I saw it, I dedicated many hours to it, which then turned into days and months not only of ranking games, but also tournaments, in other words I had become a player dedicated exclusively to the game.
Mis primeros pasos en Hive fue através del proyecto Splinterlands a finales del 2020 justo a las puertas del auge los NFT y debo decir que realmente este juego me encantó desde el primer momento que lo vi, le dedique muchísimas horas, que luego se convirtieron en días y meses no solo de partidas ranking, sino también torneos, en otras palabras me había convertido en un jugador dedicado exclusivamente al juego.
I've currently been in the ecosystem for 4 years now, but of that time I spent 2 and a half years, so to speak, on the shores of Hive, playing Hardcore Splinterlands and ignoring all the potential that Hive had. It wasn't until the end of 2022 that I began to understand that Hive was much more than the token on which Splinterlands ran, it was the manifestation of a much larger project: a cryptocurrency social network!
Actualmente tengo ya 4 años en el ecosistema pero de ese tiempo estuve 2 años y medio por decirlos de alguna maneras en las orillas de Hive, jugando de forma Hardcore Splinterlands e ignorando todo el potencial que tenía hive, no fue sino hasta finales del 2022 que comencé a entender que Hive era mucho más que el token donde corría Splinterlands, era la manifestación de un proyecto mucho más grande: una red social de criptomonedas!

I always have these internal conversations, blaming myself for not discovering this project earlier and for not paying more attention to that blockchain where Splinterlands ran. But the truth is that I could no longer continue to complain about spilled milk, so I dedicated my time in 2023 to understanding the project, its different Dapps, second layer tokens and how to correctly write my first posts, starting with the Splinterlands community events. That's how in 2024 I made the decision to start testing HBD savings and see how that APR % worked, I started with a modest amount in January: $160.
Siempre tengo estas conversaciones internas, recriminándome porque no descubrí este proyecto antes y porque no le puse más atención a esa blockchain donde corría Splinterlands. Pero lo cierto es que ya no podía seguir lamentándome por la leche derramada, así que dedique mi tiempo del 2023 a entender el proyecto, sus diferentes Dapps, tokens de segunda capa y como escribir correctamente mis primeros post, comenzando con los eventos de comunidad de splinterlands. Fue así como en 2024 tomé la decisión de empezar a probar los ahorros de HBD y ver como funcionaba ese % de APR, comencé con una cantidad modesta en Enero: 160$.
So, after a whole year learning new hive houses and maturing my discipline when it came to saving and managing what I generated in hive, I reached a total of 900 blocked HBD and I also set myself the goal of making LPUD 12 months a month. With these actions I was able to understand the seriousness of this project and how much it is worth betting on.
Así, después de todo un año aprendiendo casas nuevas de hive y madurando mi disciplina a la hora de ahorrar y gestionar lo que generaba en hive, llegue a un total de HBD bloqueado de 900 y también me propuse la meta de hacer LPUD los 12 meses del mes. Con estas acciones pude entender la seriedad que tiene este proyecto y lo mucho que vale la pena apostar por el.

My goals for 2025/Mis metas del 2025
Now, with a significant amount of HBD, I generate around $11 a month that I can use to advance my project of doing Hive Power Up. My main goal is not only to do the HPUD every 1st of these 12 months, but also to do the Hive Power Month, that is, to turn on at least 1 hive every day of the month. As you can see, on January 1st I started 10 hives and the rest of the days I was staking at least 1 hive. I won't deny it is a demanding task but that is exactly what I disciplined myself for last year.
Ahora, con una cantidad de HBD importante, genero alrededor de 11$ al mes que puedo utilizar para avanzar en mi proyecto de hacer Hive Power Up. Mi meta principal no es solo hacer el HPUD cada 1ero de estos 12 meses, sino también hacer los Hive Power Month, esto es hacer un encendido todos los días del mes al menos de 1 hive. Como pueden ver este primero de enero encendí 10 hives y el resto de los días estuve haciendo estaking de al menos 1 hive. No se los negaré es una tarea exigente pero justamente para eso me discipliné todo el año pasado.

So, we arrived at February ready to do our turn on, as you can see our amount of HBD is now at 1000 HBD locked and of course for this occasion we locked 11 hives for our first turn on of the month.
Así, llegamos a febrero listos para hacer nuestro encendido, como pueden ver nuestra cantidad de HBD ahora ya esta en los 1000 HBD bloqueados y por supuesto para esta ocasión bloqueamos 11 hive para nuestro primer encendido del mes.

And well friends, this is how we finished the second HPUD of the year, there are only 10 months left and our immediate goal is to complete the 27 power ups of this month of February but we already have the necessary hives to cover this month including the LPUD of the 15th. That's right friends, our goal for this year is quite ambitious, to cover the 365 days of the year doing Hive power ups, if we achieve it we will return to this first post to compare the metrics of my wallet before and after. Y bien amigos asi culminamos el segundo HPUD del año ya solo quedan 10 meses y nuestra meta inmediata es completar los 27 power up de este mes de Febrero pero ya tenemos los hives necesarios para cubrir este mes incluido el LPUD del día 15. Asi es amigos nuestra meta para este año es bastante ambiciosa, cubrir los 365 días del año haciendo encendidos de Hive, si lo logramos volveremos a este primer post para comparar las métricas de mi billetera antes y después.
