Patience solve all problems

I am the kind of person who does not react immediately to situations, especially the ones that will cost me something, for example, there was a time my television suddenly stopped making a sound and my babe was like I should call someone to come and fix it but I said No, how can it suddenly develop a fault and we don't even watch it that much so I left it like that.

We are in an Era in which television is just for fashion, most people do not watch it because their phones take up all their time, so the television was like that for months until my nephew visited and he wanted to play PS game as usual whenever he comes for a holiday and suddenly the Tv was back to normal and we can hear the sound, I asked him what he did to it and he said it only needed settings then it dawned on me that he was the same person that tampered with the settings cos it was like a week after he left that we put on the Tv and heard no sound, Now imagine if I had to call someone to come and fix it, we could be lucky to find an honest Tv technician that will tell us the truth about the settings that got tampered with but if we were unlucky and jam the dishonest ones, he could say we need to buy something worth 40k or even more, depends on how greedy the person is... My patience paid off and it has been like that in several other cases.

Another case like this was when I bought a phone online, the name of the phone is Jambo phone and it cost 99 dollars... I bought it and was expecting them to give us an airdrop but aside from that, the phone is cheap unlike the Solana Seeker I bought for 500 dollars and they are yet to deliver it.... So I got my Jambo phone after 2 months but I was disappointed after the screen got damaged barely 2 weeks after I got it... I thought it was from them and contacted their support but no response, I abandoned the phone not until my brother visited and said I should give him the phone and that he would repair it, I was not interested in fixing it anyway so I gave him and he fixed it for 15k Naira... I was glad that the phone won't be useless.

Then it happened, Jambo announced an airdrop for Jambo phone owners, I did not want to miss it so I called my brother and told him I needed the phone to claim some airdrop and I would return it when I was done with the promise to give him part of the reward and he agreed and brought the phone... Unfortunately, I could not link the phone Imei has instructed in their Jambo app and it was a general issue that made many Jambo owners miss the airdrop, once again I gave up on the phone, I called my brother yesterday to come and pick up the phone that I didn't get the drop only for me to wake up this morning to an email that I got 13 dollars worth of LoveAi token on the Jambo app, and that marks the beginning of something good... I visited their telegram and I asked again why I was unable to link my Imei and one of their moderator chatted me up, unknowing to me, there had been an update which fixed the whole issue, so immediately I updated the app, I was able to link the Imei and the mod also told me another airdrop is coming for the phone owners so means all hope not lost!

My patience paid off again, The only difference was that I gave the phone out but it was to a family member because I can not deny my family something they need if I have it and not using it.

Having patience really pays off sometimes. Imagine you got angry and smashed the phone when the screen got bad lol..

lol, i would be biting my fingers now...

First off, your television story reminds me of a similar thing that happened to our tv. It suddenly couldn't come on despite our best efforts. We didn't practice patience in this case and decided to call a technician. When he came, the only thing he did was to turn a button we didn't know was there. And the TV came on. We had to pay him for at least coming to our house and using transport.

And I'm just now learning of this jambo phone. I need to go harder in this airdrop thing cos the ones I'm doing don't require me to buy a phone.

Nice article though

you are lucky to meet an honest technician, some will tell you something is damaged and they need to go with the tv...

there are different forms of airdrop, Testnet, Twitter engagement, farming, and so on

some are free, some require investment, and some only take your time

the Jambo phone requires investment, we buy the phone and start doing the quest on their app to earn Jambo points which could qualify us for airdrop later.....

That's was we should not act impulsively while making a decision. We need to wait patiently before we come to a conclusion. I have seen that many time we suffer loss for making an instant decision and regret later. You shared just two examples but I am sure in our daily life there are many examples of it where we get rewarded for our patience.

There are so many examples, we should give things time to sort themselves or else we will end up getting what we didn't bargained for

Reacting impulsively is hardly ever the right thing to do. Always better to wait and observe how things turn out before making a move. I think if it wasn't for gaming and sports, TVs would become obsolete by now.

yea, people don't use it like that again , everything we need is on phone

It's like you already know electricians and people with skills in Nigeria. They'll change you x100 to fix something that doesn't even have a problem. When my AC started leaking, I opened it myself and decided to do the cleaning and it stopped leaking. A potential repair will charge like 20k

That is their way, I wanted a plumber to fix something for me, and after telling me his workmanship, I said I would get the material myself and he was like I supposed to know that is also another place that they gain some money, I was like wtf! you charged high for workmanship and still want scam me with the money for material, if one is not careful, those people will send one to village ...

I’m happy your nephew was able to do it. Those workers sometimes make sure that they open and lose some wires in the TV then collect 40k that they have solved the problem, lol
