Early morning sunrise sessions are not as common as the traditional sunset photos, however, they can be just as beautiful! It takes commitment for people to rise early, get all fixed up and out there in time to catch that morning daylight and not everyone is up for that challenge. Lyndie and Joe where game though as she had a vision for a location on her families farm that would be perfect if the light was right....and boy...was she right.

It was an unusually cool summer morning for our area so with long sleeves and super wet grass we made our way out into this stunning location. With morning light touching the heads on these tall grasses, it made for some perfect highlights to catch the morning glow.

Nice Job on that ring Joe!

We then made our way to location two where Lyndie had a creek area picked out that also worked well with the morning light. With a touch more of the dark green and gray accents, this was another great location as the morning sun continued to make its way up in the sky.

We ended with a few shots on this mostly deserted highway where we parked. It's interesting that sometimes the simple things like lines on a highway provide some really cool leading lines for a few portraits.

All in all, it was a great gallery of 80 or so images and we all survived that early morning wake up call :) Excited for Lyndie and Joe's wedding next year!

All the pictures are good but the first one is more interesting.

Thanks!

You're welcome

Definitely some great photos. Having some good locations to shoot in like that makes all the difference I think. It's always a bit funny when you see people always getting their photos done in the same places. @mrsbozz's and mine were like that, but we had a friend do them, so we had to work with what we got!

I think finding unique locations becomes challenging. Although it's probably more a mental hurdle for me than the client as I might shoot in a location multiple times, but for them...it might be the first time they have been there and likewise, their families probably have never seen those locations either :D

Yeah, that is a good point!

hope you guys are happy ever after
