Hello to everyone in the Hive Pets community! Today I join here to tell you about a good event and that is that today July 20th, my kittens Kiko, Blackie and Ardillita, are turning 1 year old. So this date brings back a lot of memories of when my cat Kira was pregnant with them, how everything went during their gestation and our excitement when the kittens were finally born (safe and sound). I'll tell you a little more about it below, let's get started!
It seems unbelievable how a year has passed since the little kittens arrived at our house. I remember how she got pregnant. It was a bit unexpected because my cat Dio (the kittens' dad), had an appointment to be neutered and a few days before that appointment, he had the meeting with Kira (the kittens' mom). If he had been neutered a week before, the kittens would not exist. Such are the things in life. That's how, as the weeks went by, we found out that she was pregnant and actually that made us feel very happy.

El día de hoy me uno aqui para contarles un buen acontecimiento y es que hoy 20 de Julio, mis gatitos Kiko, Blackie y Ardillita, están cumpliendo 1 año de edad. Por lo que esta fecha me trae muchos recuerdos de cuando mi gata Kira estaba embarazada de ellos, cómo fue todo durante su gestación y nuestra emoción cuando por fin nacieron los gatitos (sanos y salvos). Les cuento un poco más aquí abajo ¡comencemos!
Parece mentira cómo ha pasado un año desde que los pequeños gatitos llegaron a nuestra casa. Recuerdo cómo ella quedó embarazada. Fue un poco inesperado pues justamente mi gato Dio (el papá de los gatitos), tenía cita para ser castrado y unos días antes de esa cita, el tuvo el encuentro con Kira (la mamá de los gatitos). Si él fuera sido castrado una semana antes, los gatitos no existirían. Lo que son las cosas de la vida. Así es cómo, pasando las semanas supimos que ella estaba embarazada y en realidad esos nos hizo sentir muy felices.
Kira went into labor around 3:00 in the afternoon and the first kitten, Ardilla, a black/gray striped female (just like her daddy) was born. Then, Kiko was born, a white spotted male kitten (just like his daddy). And finally, Blackie, a black male kitten who didn't look like his parents but we were glad, because we always wanted a black cat. Kira was always a very good mother, taking care of them, feeding them, giving them warmth, cleaning them and taking care of them. Just as we did for her.
The kittens are not so kittens anymore, now they are huge and very independent, but finally 1 year old kittens. Two of them are already neutered. It is very sweet the fact that they recognize their family. They know who their siblings and parents are. The truth is that I feel very happy that they have grown strong, healthy, loved and happy. Kira comenzó su labor de parto a eso de las 3:00 de la tarde y nació el primer gatito, Ardilla, una hembra de rayas negras/grises (igualita a su papá). Luego, nació Kiko, un gatito macho de color blanco con manchas (igualito a su papá). Y por último, Blackie, un gatito macho de color negro que no se parecía a sus papás pero nos alegro, pues siempre quisimos un gato negro. Kira fue muy buena madre desde siempre, teniendo cuidado con ellos, alimentándolos, dándoles calor, limpiandolos y procurando bienestar. Así cómo nosotros a ella.
Los gatitos ya no son tan gatitos, ahora son enormes y muy independientes, pero finalmente unos cachorros de 1 año. Dos de ellos ya están castrados. Es muy dulce el hecho de que ellos reconocen su familia. Saben quienes son sus hermanos y sus padres. La verdad es que me siento muy feliz de que han crecido fuertes, sanos, amados y felices.
