Un saludo planetario a todos mis amigos de Needleworkmonday, hoy vengo con un corazón cargado de mucha alegría, vengo a celebrar junto a ustedes que son mi familia virtual desde hace 7 años, ¿y cómo no estar feliz? Si ustedes me han dado mucho, me han brindado su cariño, su amistad, respeto, consejo.

A planetary greeting to all my friends of Needleworkmonday, today I come with a heart full of joy, I come to celebrate with you who are my virtual family for 7 years, and how not to be happy? You have given me so much, you have given me your love, friendship, respect and advice.

Recién me llego el recordatorio en uno de mis post de que estaba cumpliendo 7 años en Hive y es con ustedes con quien quiero celebrar, porque hemos sido unas guerreras, hemos resistido momentos difíciles pero tambien hemos disfrutado momentos buenos.

I just got the reminder in one of my posts that I was celebrating 7 years in Hive and it is with you with whom I want to celebrate, because we have been warriors, we have endured difficult times but we have also enjoyed good times.

No puedo dejar de agradecer a cada uno de los que siempre me han apoyado, no los nombro a todos por temor a olvidarme de alguno. Pero ustedes saben quiénes son. Así que solo puedo decir “GRACIAS”.

I can't stop thanking each one of you who have always supported me, I won't name them all for fear of forgetting someone. But you know who you are. So I can only say “THANK YOU”.

El segundo motivo de mi alegría es contarles sobre esta manualidad hermosa que he elaborado para la pequeña princesa Paulette; esa niña y yo hemos construido una historia porque su mama siempre, desde que estaba en el vientre me encargó todo su ajuar para el nacimiento. Después de eso no he dejado de tejerle o bordarle cosas. Y ahora vuelvo con estas lindas bailarinas ya que fue Paullete quien me inspiró y desde entonces no he parado de bordarlas porque a mis clientes les ha gustado mucho esa imagen.

The second reason for my joy is to tell you about this beautiful handicraft that I have made for little princess Paulette; this little girl and I have built a story because her mother always, since she was in the womb, ordered me all her trousseau for the birth. After that I have not stopped knitting or embroidering things for her. And now I'm back with these beautiful ballerinas because it was Paullete who inspired me and since then I have not stopped embroidering them because my customers have loved that image.

Paulette está cumpliendo dos añitos y el sábado fue su fiesta, y yo por supuesto no podía dejar de ir a celebrar junto a su mami y sus abuelos este lindo acontecimiento.

Escoger el regalo fue muy fácil ya que hace unos meses hice este bordado para una clienta y a Paola (mamà de Paulette) le encantó. Asi que pense que era ideal estas toallas porque los niños crecen y necesitan adaptar las cosas a su tamaño, entre esas cosas pues tenemos las toallas de baño.

Paulette is turning two years old and Saturday was her party, and of course I couldn't miss the chance to celebrate with her mommy and grandparents.

Choosing the gift was very easy because a few months ago I made this embroidery for a client and Paola (Paulette's mom) loved it. So I thought that these towels were ideal because children grow and need to adapt things to their size, among those things we have bath towels.

Conociendo los gustos de Paola tuve que andar por varias tiendas el sábado pasado para poder conseguir un color que me gustara, según me dicen mis amigas manualistas hay una nueva gama o paleta de colores llamada “Node” y esta se inspira en los 5 elementos de la naturaleza. Eso me gusta mucho porque salimos un poco de lo que estamos acostumbrados como el blanco, el rosado o azul.

Knowing Paola's tastes I had to go to several stores last Saturday to get a color that I liked, according to what my friends tell me there is a new range or palette of colors called “Node” and this is inspired by the 5 elements of nature. I like that a lot because we go a little bit out of what we are used to like white, pink or blue.

Yo en realidad estaba buscando un color rosa pálido, es un color que me atrae bastante hoy en día, pero como no encontré lo que estaba buscando me incliné por esta combinación naranja.

I was actually looking for a pale pink color, it is a color that attracts me a lot nowadays, but as I did not find what I was looking for I went for this orange combination.

Como ven quedó muy lindo, hoy en día es más fácil bordar de lo que crees porque si tienes el don de la paciencia puedes conseguir patrones del nombre en internet y bordar a tu gusto según el tamaño y modelo de la letra que desees.

As you can see it turned out very nice, nowadays it is easier to embroider than you think because if you have the gift of patience you can get patterns of the name on the internet and embroider to your liking according to the size and model of the letter you want.

Así que éste sería mi tercer motivo de celebración, hacer siempre lo que me gusta, bordar con amor para las personas que más quiero, porque así es “la felicidad” ¡es real cuando es compartida!

So this would be my third reason to celebrate, always doing what I like, embroidering with love for the people I love the most, because that's how “happiness” is, it's real when it is shared!
