A wonderful Sunday Everyone!
Checking the challenge today about the "Sacred Spaces"! It is a good timing that I visited one of the sacred place in my mother hometown and my great-grandmother sacred spaces too.
We went Bohol to celebrate the 9th death Anniversary of my great-grandmother. At the same time I visited all my beloved ones in the cemetery like my grandmother and grandfather who were so dear to me. During the death ofy grandmother, I was there last 2020 but during the death of my grandfather, sad to say that I was inside the cage.
Then, we visited one of the Island of Panggangan, Calape, Bohol, the home town of my great-grandparent. Two of the youngest siblings of my Lola are still alive. They are beautiful and handsome figure because their parent were Spaniards hiding in Bohol before. We met our relatives and we had a happy met up and lunch together. I forgot to take a picture because, we didn't sleep there and went home at the same day. Panggangan is an Island with beautiful white sand seashore.
The most beautiful Sacred Space we visited is the Catholic Church of Calape Bohol.
The Old Catholic Church of Calape, Bohol. This is the recopy and restructured of the old church that was devastated last 2013 earthquake. Everything was copied perfectly.
Loon Catholic Church
Our Lady of Light Catholic church was also devastated last 2013 earthquake. It was down into zero ground but like the other sacred space around Bohol, all were restructured. It was completely standing last 2022 and they used some of the stones applied in reconstruction.
This is the church where my mother and all her siblings were baptized. Even my grandfather too. They renewed their vows during their 25th wedding anniversary last 1995 in this church and I was five years old that time.
During this vacation 2024, I together with my grandmother Mommy Inday with me in this picture. I remember having a picture with my mother in the grotto outside the church last 1995.

The beautiful altar. I prayed and asked favor to God. I solemnly cried and asked His guidance for my family. I felt the coldness and peace version of my inner self as my step echoes while going to capture the altar. There's a magic that I couldn't explain.
