Hi guys, remember the last time when I told you that I saw a fixie pencil colored sketch and fell super in love with it and as a result will learn more and try that approach a couple of times till I mastered it. Well, I am at it again. There were a lot of options and I didn’t know what to go with as regards the colors so I did something I was rather familiar with; the sketch. I copied the technique of my ex and blended it with my usual hatching and straight lines. I made sure the drawing was firm and that even my pencil marked the spots that needed depths and dark tone colors. This progress was something I enjoyed. Instead of using the ‘Peach’ I usually use for the skin tone, I decided to try yellow for a layout, then I laid some peach, brown, and gold on it at some point I think I added pink to the mix.
I was scared at first that the final piece might not add up but as I said earlier taking it one step at a time paid off.
